p.s. talking of frost - im loving the CMH

V.

That's great! The CMH definitely pulls the frost out. Now that my electricity bill and thermal imaging aren't security concerns, I am about to start blasting some wattage.

My eventual goal is two rows of 5 1k HPS, with 4 400w CMH in between, all vertical. Just under 14k.:yay:

Yeah, you definitely do not want to spill 5 gallons of guano tea in your attic.

Thanks for stopping through V.

Right on.

Right on.

It sounds like we have several pages from the same book.

I grew up skiing in NC. When you learn to ski on blue ice the rest is gravy. Steep trees and powpow=:headbange Fast and Fluid just like life. I had some of the best groomers of my life 2 years ago in Jackson. Which I can't believe I am even mentioning, but they were great, steep, empty, and scary fast ie ALLGOOD

I lived in Montana for six years and had passes at Big Sky and Bridger. COLD SMOKE, baby!

I was actually thinking of doubling up larger plants, veggin' 12-18". But again, shorter varieties.

1000w in xxxl's above and 600w cmh hangin' down is going to be my layout. CO2 is my con-dun-drum. Vert is in my future.

Well, it will have to be a 400w CMH, cause they don't make anything bigger. However, the extra light output, pretty much equals a 600w HPS. As far as C02, I use a propane burner.

I love the tram at Big Sky, Thunder and Lighting, had a powder day there that was out of Teton Gravity Research film. Blasting over my head, face shots, catching air, and then diving back in.

The pinnacles, and the Big Coulouir (sp). Close to the backcountry as you can get off a lift. Big Sky is serious.

Can you believe, I have never been to Jackson Hole? Almost criminal.

Take care bud.

You notice a temp difference with those CMH? I've got two spare 400W HPS magnetic ballasts and thinking about switching out the bulbs for the CMH.

ill probably use some garden chains for extra strength.

Prophet by Grindhouse Medical Seeds

This was definitely a Bubba leaning pheno! Here are some pics, while a put together my smoke report. This is my favorite, of what Grindhouse has to offer, and I've got most of their gear.

I have no idea what that red thing is...

Smoke report:

Strain: Prophet (Pre 98 Bubba Kush x Tang Tang)

Breeder: Grindhouse Medical Seeds

Appearence: Rock hard buds, coated in crystals, true bubba kush structure, with shades of purple. (10/10)

Smell: KUSH with hints of fruit/berry. Hashy undertones. (9/10)

Taste: Fairly spicy, thick smoke. Fruity exhale. Smooth, but powerful.(10/10)

High:Ass whipping. This is weed for the pros out there. Do not smoke this with your buddy, who occasionally smoke. Cause he will freak the fuck out. This is my favorite strain so far. That is saying quite a bit. Good job GMS. (10/10)

Overall: This was a strong Pre-98 leaning pheno. I have Pre-98 Bubba, and this is almost the same. The Tang Tang adds the needed amount of sativa, to really add some bud mass. The only problem I have with Bubba is the yield, this cross is the answer to that problem. I am a big fan of this cross, as it is my favorite of what Grindhouse has to offer. Prophet will be a staple of my garden for awhile. It is a benchmark. (9.5/10)

Yo bobby...when you say your favorite strain (the line in your smoke report), are you referring to you favorite GRINDHOUSE strain...or your favorite strain...PERIOD!?!? I've heard you mention the Deep Congo quite a bit...and i'm just wondering if the prophet is knocking that away as well? Just trying to get some clarification on what exactly you meant. Great looking plants and report. I have a three pack on the way...

Guess what is in the mail? The Prophet and he is coming to my house! Not really, they are coming to a friends house where I will meet them, love them, and then pull every trich of them I can. I value your opinion and am looking forward to my own smoke report. Thanks for the heads up. How much were you getting of a plant?

PS Get you ass to Jackson. It has the best terrain in the lower 48, IMHO.
#1 Jackson
#2 Squaw
#3 Snowbird/Alta

And Whistler is in a league of its own.

happy trails

Mob Boss: 8 week cure smoke report

Strain: Mobb Boss (ChemDawg D x Tang Tang)

Breeder: Grindhouse Medical Seeds

Appearence: Sparse leafing, shows off the huge, contiguous buds this plant stacks on it's branches. Dense, perfect nuggets stack on top of each other, and are covered in glistening THC goodness.(9/10)

Smell:I got a incredibly chemmy pheno, the sucker reeked of powerful Afhgani and pine, with a hint of potpourri (10/10)

Taste: Hashy with some coffee undertones. Some floral notes on the exhale. You can tell this will kick your ass. Too big a hit will choke you up. Thick clouds.(9.5/10)

High:This cross has some definite medical qualities to it. The Chem presence is really heavy, and makes for a thick stone. Not much needs to be on the agenda, when sitting down to some rips of Mob Boss. Face numbingly stoned is a good what to put it.(9/10)

Overall: Once again Steele bred these things with the "donor" strain in mind. This being the ChemDawg D, a incredibly potent strain, with a couchlock quality to it. The addition of the Tang Tang, once again improves a already good plant, and takes it to the next level. This is one of my heavier yielders, and I am pretty sure she will do more. I am getting around 5 zips per in 5 gals with Coco. Another winner from GMS. (9.5/10)

Blue Sonja 8 week cure smoke report

Blue Sonja 8 week cure smoke report

Strain: Blue Sonja G3
Breeder: Grindhouse Medical Seeds

Appearence: I have the squat pheno, and man does it get frosty! I have received numerous POTMs, and two 2nd place finishes with Blue Sonja. It is definitely the best looking girl I've got.(10/10)

Smell:The smell is not nearly as prevalent as the Mob Boss and Prophet. It is a more fragrant smell, rather than a permeating smell. Light berry and other tropical scents fill the jar its in.(9/10)

Taste: Dry berry and floral tones from this light smoke. Easy to puff on, and take a huge bong tear of. I am a big fan of this green.(9.5/10)

High:This is the only gear from GMS, that I have grown, that doesn't absolutely make me retarded. Which is noce sometimes, but when you have a bunch o shit to do, Sonja is my go to. It gives you that great Sativa stone, that makes you talkative. (9/10)

Overall: This plant is a award winner. Period.(9.5/10)

Are you sure you don't work for Steel? If not you should be, you are seriously making his wares shine. Again, nice job.

Steele has some great gear, at a cheap price. Usually it's the opposite.

I also do some testing for Grindhouse, and like to reciprocate the generosity.

Thanks for stopping by bud!
