I live in Montana as well... I have a caregivers card and my wife holds the green card. This place is a wealth of information, doesnt seem to be a problem with growing that cant be solved.
Just dont jump at the first responce to your questions, look around a bit, ask a few more, but mostly if you research here, you will find your answers..

Hydrosun, the Montana rules give the card holder 6 plants and one ounce...
