Drying method to avoid molding?

Mold has been an issue at times, I think the old brown bag method may do but I forget the details. Any drying ideas are welcome, thanks. :xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree::xmastree:

Hang/Dry in a cool, dark place. Indirect airflow...until the stems break with a 'snap'...(keep humidity below 50%)...

airflow airflow airflow, even if the humidity is high the airflow will help. Also make sure your dry spot is different than your grow area if the mold issue is IN your grow area. Clean that area out and use safers 3 in 1 or something else that can keep it on down during the grow in hopes of keeping it away by the time they are done and ready to dry.

Has anyone had any good results using rice? Buy a $10 bag of it and have it in the grow area or dry area to remove the moisture?

Just clip them and hang them in a room with fans tossing the air around. The brown bag method IMHO is a if you can't just hang them in a well ventilated room thing. You trim the buds to fit and toss them in a brown paper bag ... and put them in a well ventilated space. If Extra air flow measures are thought to be required you can cut vents in the bag rather easily while it is folded and put them in the flow of a fan.

Rice is a great desicant. Im not sure how well it'll work without significant re-drying though. For drying, I was thinking of those Dry Bags for basements. You just have to exhaust the vapors swiftly.
