I own three of the damn things and they account for less than $1k of my glass collection.
A Lux (same shop, blowers, and makers as US roor) 14" mini perc should cost $200... They wholesale at $80. If that's "too much dough" for a top-end tube, then you probably shouldn't bother looking to buy a "nice bong".

I think the point is, the people who *get* the quality difference, get the nicer tubes. The people who don't give a shit, will go for something cheaper.

I won't ever buy an illadelph tube - I do own some of their glass, had their ashcatcher but it's a POS - as they are noticeably lesser in quality than SG/ROOЯ/TORO.
Same thing goes for phX, I know a lot of cats who love them but to me they're poorly designed poorly crafted drag machines.

It comes down to trying and witnessing different makes and models. It's like cars. You wouldn't think the Ford GT40 was a POS, until you owned one (or already knew ahead of time that Fords suck and avoided it entirely).

Lovin the pieces so I figured I'd contribute... The custom inline fondly referred to as "Puff" due to the diechrome puff the magic dragon in the wart on the back(obviously the ash catcher is not custom)

next is my everyday bowl, hits like a champ and looks great while doing so...

The Erbo isn't an everyday smoker, just more of a spontaneous purchase based on peaked interest. Its fun, don't get me wrong, but it doesnt get used half as much as my other glass. it is fan operated and a perfect piece for the lazy man, or the contagious man since your mouth never touches the pipe. Hope you like the glass, got more to show after the pics are taken.
....But before you get the wrong idea, Nothing can beat a spliff. Not even custom glass

I'd like to get a nice bubbler....like a nice artworked sherlock bubbler.....Also has anybody got a illedelph bong.....those look insane on aqualabs webpage?.....Those Roor and most other bongs look nice aswell. I'm no expert or anything about glass quality and shit but I'm sure these expensive bongs are awesome. I really don't like to use a bong...my Chong glass bong hasn't been used but a few times in 8 years. I think I payed around $120 I'm not really sure it wasn't much........If I ever got another water bong I'm gonna get a good one with a perculator or two and all the bells and whistles......some of these bongs look like Nasa made them.....I'm sure the Roor/illadelph/ and all the expensive bongs are well worth the money. I know there expensive but I'd like to have one LOL

Last time I checked glass is glass, but cars actually do various things. One bong might give you a better hit, but they will both get you high. A Camry can't exactly do 0-60 in 3.5 like a GT-R or go up a 40 degree incline like a Defender 90...
