My friend owes bank lots of money... hes broke and its been going on since 2007...

bank was VERY active in summer 2009.... trying to beat this money out of him...

he contacted citizen advice beuro and the dude there been dealing with the bank..

Thing is we havent heard from the bank in 6 months...... some things up, they are preparing something

what should he do?

Hi,

I you are in the UK defiantly go and speak to an accountant. All the CAB will do is organise repayment and possibly freeze interest. An accountant will lay it out for you, give you all of your options. I was in a bad way financially a while back the CAB did nothing for me. My mum suggested a local accountant and without going into details he was worth every penny of his £250 fee.
