anybody ever lived/grown in a trailer?

My lease runs up soon and I'm a renter. I've never really considered it, I guess because most trailer parks I've visited have been dangerous and shady as hell, whereas apartment complexes can be (generally) safe, even the cheaper ones.

Thoughts?

good drown

you can do it, just usually on a small scale. there is usually a low limit like 50 amps or something on some trailers. if you do a search, i know there is 1-2 really good threads about this. A few people seem to have very good and recent experience with it.
the number 1 thing though is power. if you can get something with alot of amps , and then not use as many circuits as possible, you way be able to run 16-1800watts

In a bus for 12 years and pulled off a nice closet while living in it. About 5' x 3' x 6' tall. Mixed a 400 hps and 250 halide over drain to waste in hydroton, co2 - the works. Push-pull, 'bout 4 nice oz's a month out of 4 continual girls.

Had a double wide off a country road, concealed and quiet, no neighbors. Grew vegetables outside, ran a closet grow inside.

I know people that grow in old buses, caravans, trailers, and just about anything they can find. It can be done. One woman I know lives on the bottom floor of a double-decker, with her bed upstairs and a decent-sized grow upstairs too.

hmmm i fancy burrying couple of shipping containers outside my town - for grow and hanging out .. :chin:

Like the other guys said, power is the biggest issue, next to that, making sure your room is sealed.

Also, on the power thing, when i was growing in a trailer the breaker would trip because the bedroom i was using was on the same circuit as the living room and we had 5 computers hooked up. It was always tripping that bitch.

I have done feasability assessment, and it could be a good way to go. Neighbors, upgraded electic, AC, and insulation are key. The main draw is you can own it for the price of a used car, and nobody has inspection rights.

when I was 10 years old they refused to allow me into The Scouts......so we broke into the Scout Hut......and borrowed a few Scout uniforms and went 'Bob-a-Jobbing' as counterfeit Scouts, knocking on doors and getting small jobs to do like clearing up leaves, weeding and moving furniture about.......and we got paid for it at least a shilling (5 pence).....

....I did work 'on the dust' for a while, but never got into tarmacing driveways....and I can do a better Pakistani accent than an Irish one....
