too hot ....loose the heating pad , they are totally useless
also maybe too wet , its a fine line between wet and dry but you want it on the dry side so the roots come out and go looking for the water

without the heat mat it's gonna be about 65 in the day and just below 60 at night... it's an old house.

What nutrient regime do you have the moms on? Doubt that vermiculite will dry out too much, they look ready. I have had luck tossing a few pinches micro start or innoculant whatever under the clones. My super secret though, is feeding the moms and keeping them real happy. Cut my cloning by a week.

totally agree, i just had like 6 clones from a sick mama and took 5 almost 3 weeks to show new growth. I will probably be tossing the other one out soon.

I use...100% coco, clonex gel over 2 nodes, and just a clear solo cup with the top cut out. Spray water in the cup once a day and it acts like a humidity dome, but when it the water drys ur little ones start to get used to ur regular humidity so I don't even like ween my bitches off of the high humidity levels. If that makes sense to ne1 besides myself....

Hmm, damn reveg`s... Well they "look" ready to me. They are to that point where they go a little deficient right before poppin roots...at least thats what I observe seems to happen.
I guess I wouldn`t change anything and give em another week.
Hmm, I bet a thimble of compost tea couldn`t hurt either.

Also how much light are you using??, too much light intensity/concentration will make your cuttings start to photosynthesis and with no roots they will go belly up. You want just enough light to keep them going/alive so they want to throw out roots. I clone under 1 18w cool white CFL (3 site bubble cloner) @ about 25-30cm away. Hope you get it sorted bro.

Peace an Gardening.

They will root eventually. I've used Olivia's cloning solution successfully in that situation.

Color of light

Color of light

What color of light you got them under?

Red for rooting, blue light no good for roots. That what i have found over the years.

Are you saying Warm White is better than cool white for rooting?

I always use C/W-Cfls(6500k) as the days pass i raise the light right up off them to encourage rooting. Lower lighting levels encourages rooting. High Light Intensity will really slow down rooting.
Never had a problem with rooting using this method. I move the 125w (Cool white)Cfl from 2' - 3' - 3.5' from days 5 to 10. Works a treat every time. Always get great rooting!
Good luck......................Scroger!

BTW your root temps sound perfect mid - high 70's(tick) Do you always use the same method? Are you getting good contact-medium to stem? The size of your perlite could be causing you some problems there!

Hey where ya go? :)
I noticed today that some of my clones in rapid rooters just dont drop the roots, and instead curl back up along the plastic. I was getting nervous and popped a couple up and sure enough...
