Question about Root Rot

Ok so I got a thrifty little aero setup from a friend with some plants in it. I would like to bud out the plants but when i opened the lid to them there were verry apparent signs of root rot. I am not looking to bud them in the aero setup but Will switching to coco fix my problem? or just make it worse. Do I have to cure the root rot before i throw them into coco pots? Or should i stick with aero all the way through. I am doing Large 5 gallon pot plants btw. Thanks!

Maybe cut out the rot and transplant...the roots will bounce back in a few days.:smokeit:

a diluted h202 solution(like 10-20 ml per gallon) to dunk them in, then rinse with clean water. transplant then.

Sounds great. I'd cut it away but theres not much to cut away. they have weak roots for their size.

I have heard a bunch about using h2o2 for root rot. I will run them for a day on it then transplant.
