Old time lurker, thanks I do my best.

Phatboyfromla, you don't now the half of it. I only feed them plain water, the nutes in the soil take care of them until they go into flowering.

Subrob, thanks for the karma, my cuz gave these beans to me from a friend that breed. He told me he bread Purple Haze and Skunk #1 together.

I have some bad news, I got an infestation in my garden. I have some flying bugs that don't seam to harm the plants. Then I have these 6 legged bugs that look like mites or thrips if thats how you spell it. I had to cut the PSK down and clean the cab out and anything that came in contact with the grow. I have been busy do to the snow we have here on the east coast. I have been shut in for 6 days and counting. I saved my other PSK's, Speed Queen and my BMR I have flowering, they are in there seventh week the BMR is in its third week and the mother is in its first week 6 days. I will post some pics tomorrow. Until then with a smoke report and a weigh in you all be easy.:smokey:

Great grow Tonyton.

Page 2 has one of the best examples of a male flower I've seen online.

What does the pvc pipe going into the soil do? (pg. 2, 13th pic)

If electric is you're issue I'd spend the 20 bucks on the socket pigtail and a dual light socket and go 100watt CFL. You save on electric and give your plants enough lumens during vegging. You could also run different timers on the lights, i've never used a HPS during veg i normally just use CFL and have great results than switch into my 600 watter.

So short and sweet, spend the little bit of money to make it worth it or else it was a waste of time. A 25 foot roll of mylar and some extra CFL's never hurt anyone.

Thanks masterlow, the speed queens will be 7 weeks tomorrow. Between tonight and tomorrow I will post pics.
Mygrow, your bieng to modest but thank you. The pvc pipe is for the way I grow in soil. I bottom feed my plant for two reasons, one is so the plants get direct food when feed and two it keeps the bugs away. I forgot reason #2 and ended up with bugs in my garden. So when I feed my plants I pour the water in the 2 inch pvc pipe. This works best for me as I can calculate how much I will feed to last for one week to how many plants I have in the planter. I got the idea from Soma in a high times issue back in 2004 I think. It works for me. Until then fellas Smoke one for me:smokey:

LOL, sorry sorry. Okay, Awesome grow!!! You've put a lot of work into it and are reaping the rewards. I wish to be in your shoes soon.

The watering method sounds appealing. Do you do anything special at the bottom of the container or perforate the pipe?

Update 2/16/2010

Pushing on to the next plant, the PSK's I had flowering after the original PSK grow will be the focal point now that I had to chop the ones we where studying. This picture is of the PSK at day 49/7 weeks.

Hear is one of my speed queens @ day 49/7 weeks.

picture.php

They look like they will have some time to go. An my Bluemoonrocks mother @ one week in flowering.
picture.php

The weight on the PSK that I chop was 50 grams give or take a gram. It have a light fruity taste and a nice high( good on pain) for a day time smoke. Remember it was chopped early so if finished full term it will have a heavy head to body stone ratio. I will show dried bud shots tomorrow. Until then smoke watcha got and thank GOD for it.:smokeit:
