Plants have been retrained, and I'll probably have to rethink it again. Buds a growing quick, but Im just afraid the main cola + a few others are just too close to the light. Anyone have suggestions for camera adjustments to keep my photos from being so whitewashed? I have a D40, I know its capable, Im just new to it.

Looks a bit droopy :S

As for the camera, you can pre-fix the darkness usually by the menu, or easier - focus on a bright spot using auto mode (if you have one).

For better pictures...take a meter reading on one of the leaves that are not in bright light, then hold down the ae button and re-compose the picture and shoot.

Im suprised no one has corrected a problrm you have. You need black tubing, not clear, clear tubing can cause problems, like agle which you are having a slight problem it looks like. Alge can kill plants dude. The plants look awesome looking forward to the lemon skunk, i doing a lemon skunk grow in my 150W cab, will be nice to compare

Ive seen plenty of people grow from clear containers without a problem. Regardless, there is no water going through the tubing, just air, so alge shouldnt and hasnt been a problem.

Light is getting in there, When the light passes through that clear tubing it gets carried along the tubing into your containers, its a very small amount of light but for best yeild it is best to take away anything that can slow stop or kill plant/plant growth. Your growing with a 150watter every thing you can do to improve your plants enviorment helps with the yeild, its only like 6 bucks for all the tubing you need and that could end up giving you a extra gram or 2. You could also make your light height adjustable, keeping it close throughout the growing period makes denser and bigger buds.

Im not trying to argue here, but that small of an amount of light will not affect anything. Its probably less light than what leaks through the tops of the net pots and through the hydroton. Ive had these pots running for 2 months and the roots are happy and healthy, and the plants are already growing bigger than I can comfortably handle. Also, once I start running clones and perpetual harvest, I wont be able to adjust the height of the light, so thats why its at a fixed position.

The hardest part about it so far is dealing with how well theyre growing!

Im not using any set nute ratios, Ive been letting the plants tell me what they need (hah, and sometimes I let this forum let me know what they need ) Its been really easy so far using the floranova. I cant knock on the guys who have a strict nute regime, additives, schedules, and super proton flavor expanders, and get great results with it, but Im a simple guy just doing this for myself. If my plants are happy, Im happy, and thats good enough for me

1/21, day 60 since pistils-

Hey guys, things are looking good. Started my flush on pot2 2 days ago. Not positive, but will probably chop her next weekend. Heres a few shots, shes turning a little purple also-

Heres a bud off pot1, this things funny, grows almost like lettuce, but she might be sensitive to the heat

Heres my mother room as of now. Im doing well with clones now, I have a GWS clone, 3 clones form the currently flowering plant in pot1, and a clone from one of the rear soil moms. Finally got a C99xDC to sprout. 1/8

and heres bud shots. What do you think? 3 days?

pot2 will see its last 12 hours of light today. Then shes off to a day of darkness and chop on friday!

A good many buds are pretty leafy, Im thinking they sat up too close to the light, but it makes it kind of hard to really tell how much girth the buds have. I'll be stoked if this one plant gives me an O

Its finally here. Harvest #1 from my first hydro cab. Again, this plant was an accidental bagseed cross of my own, was started from seed, switched to 12/12 about 2 weeks after sprouting. It is one of two plants that were started in the cab. About 63 days or so from showing sex, here we are. I dont want to say it smells like grapes just because its purple, but it definitely has a sharp, fruity smell, with a little bit of stank thrown in.

240g wet, plus some smaller popcorn and trim. I said I'd be happy with an O, but maybe I'll get 2 out of it

Now heres what Im worried about. Some of the buds right under the light grew up close to eachother. Does this look like mold or bud rot or anything I should be worried about? To me it just seems like parts dont have any pigment. But some parts are dark brown, and there were some brown and dead sugar leaves in this mix. should I snip this area off? if so, is it safe to add it to my trim to make bubble hash out of?
