how do you seal the doorway to a sealed room to make it airtight?

An existing doorway or one you're building?
Either way I used weather stripping, available at your local hardware store. Get something thick but not so thick you can't close the door, and something squishy but not so squishy it breaks down in a couple months.

thanks, i got the same answer somewhere else aswell.
i am thinking of building a sealed room so that i do not have to always vent hot air into the roof space which causes condensation in the winter.

In sealed room you'll still be venting somewhere..... either cause of the AC hoods ( fresh air / hoods / exhaust out ) or the hot air from the AC... Just 'sealed' as in no air exchange. Yes I know there are exceptions to this but in case your new and thinking stuff it all in one room and everything is gonna be a Ok... no
