Figured id throw this pig up here. 12.9 Biggest so far caught her in 08. Released to swim again (took me 15 minutes to revive her) but she swam off like a champ. Caught her on 6 lb test. And there were rumors of the world record in this pond but now thats in Japan. Hope everyone has a safe holiday this season.

Is that a walleye or laketrout? I hear the best eating freshwater fish is a walleye? Nice fish anyhow and i love fooling them on artificials. Its really not that hard some days!!

Never fished east coast but have caught bluefin off the cali coast (just not as big as east coast 1200 pounders) still fun and tasty.

aint had a chance to fish for quite a spell. dang deer hunting really takes chunks out of quality fishing. as soon as deer is over it will be time to get after the walleye/sauger & crappies. man, good eating! is there anything more fun than watching your float s-l-o-w-l-y go under water? OK, maybe a big smallmouth blow a topwater plug clean up in the air... i love saltwater fishing too, but going offshore is beyond my financial reach anymore. love surf fishing for blues at Hatteras though, & catching snook on floridas gulf coast too! armedoldhippy

saw on the news tonight that the water temps are getting so low that snook & such are threatened. they have probs below 60 degrees, & it was 48 where this report came from. a marina owner had submerged heat lamps along his dock, & had film of snook & 'cudas circling the lights...dang global warming! where are you when we NEED you ??? :dunno:
