Pot Dealing Cop in Murder for Hire Plot

An Illinois police sheriff who sold marijuana confiscated from drug busts is now sitting in jail awaiting trial. Raymond Martin who had been charged with Federal drug and weapons offenses, now will face murder-for-hire charges too, along with his wife and son who helped with the plot.

It seems Raymond, whose case is coming to court soon, decided the best defense for him would be to "take out" his drug dealing partner and undercover C/S (Confidential Source) who helped rat out cannabis growers. Well the rat is now ratting out Sheriff Martin, who is only one of many law enforcement officers who've been corrupted by the drug war.

So which is worse folks? People growing pot or corrupted LEOs busting people so they can make a profit, and then plotting to kill those who turned them in?

Got what he deserved. Of course the rat ratted on him. Did the pig think he was above all of the rat's "friends" that he was already rolling over on. He must've thought shit would never hit the fan but it did and rightfully so. The best news of all is that growers will likely figure out who the rat is and he will no longer be privy to info and his days as a rat will be over in the growing arena anyway.

The only admirable thing he did was he tried to get the CI to start an outdoor grow...
