Thanks mate!

Harvest day!

The buds seemed very dense and heavy though I allowed the plants to run dry befor chopping time. I'm looking forward to finding out how much it is when it's dry.

The bud subjected to UV-C light, no visual damage.

Thanks all of you for watching.
I just tried smoking the first nugget I harvested a week ago. I did a one week 30 degrees C newspaper curing on it, and the flavor isn't bad at all.
The effect of the smoke reminds me of the widow! And I'm very pleased with that :D :D

I can only agree with all the posts before me! Stunning buds, amazing technical innovations, and a nice guy running the show - this is a great thread. Well done Pedro. *round of applause*

 Thanks a lot guys!
Scrubs, back at ya. Subscribe to all you do around here ;)

The havest dried up pretty fast when placed above my scrubber. I think I'll need to moisture it up a bit before the curring process.

around 180g without stems, according to my quality Chinese kitchen scale. :)
haven't found out why it has "use for family" written on it?? I know the Chinese are small, but....

180g from 330w of PL-L = 6.35 ounces! About .55 grams per watt.

Once again, proving the emerging rule of thumb on ICM that each 55w PL-L lamp is good for about one ounce of harvested bud. This rule of thumb is most definitely firming up, and the grams per watt of the last 4 reported harvests from PL-L on the micro forum have all been extremely close to each other on a grams-per-watt basis

The variances in harvest yields are only a few percentage points of each other for plants grown, literally, all over the world between divergent strains, both with and without LST and Scrog.

Gratz on your harvest and my thanks for the great show.

Thanks mate!

I still believe they can yield more with an alternative grow style, light spectrum, improved airflow, another strain, aero instead of low drainage soil and so on.. but that remains to be proved. I will try, thats for sure :D

I'm doing and DIY intermezzo tread with cooling system, new lamp and stuff. Hope to see you around!

It's been a joy to have you all on board for this grow!!
Thanks!

I'm still have a few thoughts about the lamp build, perhaps mixing in a few LED's. I get a lot of news from the front line of LED field testing, and I would like to make use of what I've learned about plant reactions to peaks in 715nm light. It has been proved plants minimize their stretch if they get a big peak in the middle of the light period, and have an amount as low as possible the last hour. The other way round works to if you want them to stretch a bit. I would like a few watts of 715's on a timer to be in more control of it. :)

And then there is some quite revolutionary news from the studies in light and flowering.
They done a test at Waageningen university with chrysanthemum, a SDP normally flowering at 11 hours of daylight. In this test they gave it 4 additional hours of narrow blue light outside the 11 hours of mixed light, and achieved a plant that continued to grow while flowering. To everyones surprise it also stretched a bit, not the expected behavior toward blue. Funny stuff, could be fun to try on a plant, though it would be in one of the other cabs. Won't waste a whole grow on an experiment.
I'll learn a bit more about it next Thursday. ;)

Think I got an idea for raising and lowering the aero buckets :D

I'll return with some build stuff soon.
