Best way to grow Abusive OG and Chem D?

Someone very kindly gave me these two strains and told me that the Chem D was a great scrog plant and to top it... But he didn't have the Abusive dailed in yet...

I saw Time said in another thread that the Abusive would do well in a SOG grow... I just want some of your input if you've had experience with either of these strains.

I have two 4'x4' tents and I have 2x600W in each of them... I grow in canna soil with their line up... I was thinking of having a strain in each tent but unsure of the best way to go about it (number of plants, length of veg)... What should I do?

Also, how long do these strains take to flower?

I've only done the OGK, although I have Appalachia too, which is probably similar in many respects to the Chem D. The OGK is really, really stretchy, and needs severe training to produce a decent yield. It's incredibly bendy though in veg and early flower, and can practically be tied in knots - one the buds are forming properly though it 'sets' hard, and whatever you have then is what you'll end up with.

That finishes in 9-10 weeks in Canna soil. The good part is though that buds are the same size all over the plant, so although you get 'small' top buds, you also get 'huge' bottom buds (relatively), and an apparently small yield can be boosted when the rest of the plant's checked. Very potent, though not the strongest flavour, so add some bat guano in flower to bring out more of the coffee/lemon/earthy flavours that are in there.

here's a few things i can say about growing the OGkush abusive, shes doubles+ in size on the onset of flower, shes kind of a light feeder, but loves MG. So give her a good veg and a plenty mg and she will impress you.

defineatly keep up on the cal/mag for both plants. they seem to respond well to pk boosters in mid/late flower too

more like tripples in hight when streching lol . i flowered a clone at 13" and after 4 weeks it was over 4ft tall so i had to bin it . lol

This is very good advice. I haven't grown the abusive but have grown the chemd. Topping and training does good for it, and be sure to stake up the branches as they can and will get floppy. She can take good feedings no problem.

You also don't have to go to crazy with lollipopping branches. Trimming her up a bit does good, but one god thing about he chem is even the bottom nugs fill in nice and solid. Very little flarf in my experience.

The best way to grow chemD is to top to get multiple colas, and do have support because like everyone else said she is very floppy and you get more yield if she is concentrating on producing bud rather than expending energy supporting herself.

For the Abusive OG, I grew her two ways, the first was to top multiple times and to train onto a screen, this was very effective and she grows so fast in veg.

The other way was to do about 2 plants per 11L pot and flower when really short, this gives single colas and she stays short, also very effective.
