Do you hate your job?

I hear that - the place I'm at now, I've got 21 yr olds in their second job trying to give me orders and life lessons. I'm late 40's, been working 30 yrs.

WTF is up with late teen, early 20 somethings??? They have more goddamned attitude, will not shut up, and sneer at everyone or everything that "bothers" them while they are chattin' or texting, or just standing around doin' fuck all... At work...

i bet we appeared the way to the generation before us,i was a chef,and had this kid fresh from school telling me how to make mashed potatoes,he was 2 yrs old when i started cooking and the little worthless punk was trying to tell me how to cook!! that lasted right up until i pointed out i was doing his job because he sucked at it,that i had in fact done all my prep work,the bulk of his,and managed to strip and clean the walkin cooler,and i was 24 yrs older than him

Whats with them old farts just because there old they think they know it all try to show them an easy way to do there job it goes straight in one ear out the other and when they started doing your idea they think it was there's and the basterds get the credit.

My advice is don't help old basterds.

I hate having to go to work, I hate my job, for no real reason in particular. My job pays well, its not that hard, I just hate having to get up early as f*ck in the freezing ass cold and having to go to work. Almost everyday I daydream of growing for my main source of income and just having some meaningless easy part time job to make up the difference.

if you hate your job let's hear it, I know I cant be the only one.

Dude, that is exactly how I feel. In my fantasy, my part time job involves my other hobby of woodworking!!!, lol, some day that will be my life damn it, some day!!!

At one time i was very happy cause i liked what did,Now with the slowdown .Its been kind of a take what you can get as far as hours and job tasks.And the job has changed from satisfying meaningful work to ,moreso alot more menial tasks .....

This is exactly where Im at.

I must clarify, I think I have come to the conclusion that I just hate work in general, has much less to do with my particular job. Work and having to adhere to someone else's schedual, I just wanna sleep late damnit! and not go outside when it's cold out.

I'm in an odd boat occupationally, I loved what I do a while ago and now I'm over it, but I've been at it so long and I make decent money...tons of time off & decent bennefits, and I am very fortunate to be employed. But I hate working for the somebody else, and I hate getting up in the early morning and dealing with dumbasses (customers & co-workers) I'm working on a project that may be my way out of this job, and I'm trying not to sell what I grow, but it is sure tempting to move a few bags a week just to lighten the load. I'm with Iron Lion-I just wanna sleep late too!

i do maybe 2 hours of real work at my job. i clock plenty of overtime and i smoke blunts and surf the net the majority of those hours. i barely see my boss or other co-workers, and occasionally i am propositioned by drunk ho's or attention starved wives.

my job is so easy that i am afraid that i will get too comfortable and not finish my degree. - i've hated most of my other fucking jobs though. just thank god that you don't work at starbucks.

Every job has its perks and downsides...in this economy I'm happy to have a stable profession....

Finallly after a loooong quest in finding employment i got me a new job.. so i guess im indifferent for now.. im sure that'l change soon
