So as the title says i want to add Co2 to the mix but dont know what to go with, LP generator or bottle? and what proper controllers do i need for the one i should go with???

my room can be sealed or not, the bloom room is roughly 9x9x7 ,have 2k, carbon filter, all ventilation, i have two 4x4x6.5 tents in it i had the thought of just taking em out and fitting the room with B&W Polly and sealing it but i want some info from the pros before i make a major change to my OP, so someone, anyone, everyone please help???

I'm ready to step up my gro game so i can get bigger better taster buds as hopefully everyone else does too.

Well I'm on a cell gettin my fix and studying up on the subject, I guess as far as now what I really need to know is my room is bout 550 sqft should I go with bottle or lp gen? And what sorta basic controller would I need? I was lookin at the gen-1 lp gen with a either cppm1-ppm controller or the chhc-1.

What do you guys think?

See my sig, but more than a 10X10 room is more than is practical for bottles imho, generator all the way. chhc-1 is an excellent piece of equipment, massive value there.

i have a 13x11 room for flower , i put up b/w poly plastic w/ 4 zipper doors, made the room 4.5 x 9 . i also use 2k. co2 rocks, i would get a controler. i used one years ago before my room got leo'ed. just started growing again and wouldn't want to flower without one ..... with the increased yeild it should pay for it self in 1 or 2 grows.

good luck

Mine is 8 by 8 with a cd-6 burner and cap PPM-1 controller.Make sure you get a controller no matter what method you use

Wow thanks guys, yeah I didn't plan on getting one without the other, think I'm pretty set on the Gen-1 hooked up to the CHHC-1,now I had the thought of splitting my room into 2 and flip flop 1k ballast with the lights on movers and from what I read its a must to seal the room if I pay the bucks for the Co2 set up,

So my next question would be my room closed up gets to about 70 max right now in winter, will adding the Gen-1 and dehumidifier up the temps to where I'll need an A/C? From what I read with Co2 the room should be around 80-85?

Also I shouldn't have to intake or exhaust either? The few threads I found had very split decisions on that subject.

I like an emergecny fan setup, in case the room overheats because of:

co2 generator sticks on
AC fails
Or you don't have your ballasts on thermal overrides (turns off timers if temp exceeds setpoint.)

Depending on the size of the space and available fans/ductwork, you may need an intake and exhaust just for these emergency situations, but in general no, with CO2 enriched rooms it is not necessary to exhaust.

Some guys do like to run exhaust fans during the day because they lack ample dehueys, but they have to be on a carbon filter, which negates the dehumidification effect they were probably trying to achieve. Carbon clogs quickly with water over 60% RH. They don't need supplemental O2. Yep you need a dehuey and AC and keep the RH at 50% and temps at 85F day/70F night, 65 if you are trying to finish up a purple strain in flower.

Oh, if you're running air cooled hoods search for my thread on how to automate hood heat, you can keep the hot exhaust when you need it and blow it outside when you don't, automagically.

i have an in line fan which runs 24/7 with2 1000 watt hps bulbs and heat has never been an issue. Temps run 75-76 degrees but if I seal up which i have in the past temps ran low to mid 80's which i think I can get away with, so after sealing my room up I might try co2 again but i"d want a burner. The cost to run it would be nominal and the pay out pretty good.
