Cosmic that is awesome!

Congrats, and don't forget to give yourself some credit. You made all the decisions, and took all the actions.

You got the next clones or seeds going yet?

Yeah I have to agree with you. This time around my plants look better then any other indoor attempt I have tried. I had a few problems in the beginning but it was a problem I will take every time. I actually under fed them early as opposed to burning the hell out of them. The only hassle I have is the mess of making teas to feed with, but the results are just incredible. I have a small grow with two plants that I topped and from the looks of it, I will out yield anything I have tried to date. I'm using 6 42 watt CFL's (4x 2700K and 2x 6500k)and another three double fit four foot shop lights with various mixed spectrum T-8 lights on the back wall of my closet for side lighting. ( i just used some old lights I had laying around my garage) Total investment for this grow is around 80 bucks with the CFL's and all the guano and a few other supplies. I wish I had the balls to post pictures, but I'm sort of paranoid already just talking about it here. Good luck with your future grows. In the future I really want to upgrade to a 250watt HPS but it seems like these lights are working fine for now.

maryjohn,as to the next batch. i topped my 2 most healthy lookin plants, took those 2 cuttings and put them in cloner and waitin for roots.when the 2 potential mothers are able to produce approx 10 cuttings per plant for ttl of 20(probably another wk or 2)i'll be all set to get the perpetual sog thing goin..would like to do somethin similar to what mrbudgreen did..right now i'm experimentin with different size containers to find out what i can and cant do..house is full of peanut butter jars, coffeemate containers,etc.. hehehe....aint had so much fun since the hogs ate my little sister!....staff11,i was a painting contractor so had all kinds of fluoros and that was all i had til 3 wks ago..got a 400 watt hps kit from htg supply for $ 54 plus $13 for shippin and can already tell a difference in the density of buds.now i put fluoros on top of plants and the hps(hung vertically) in the middle of em,in a 3.5x3.5 sq ft box.........jaykush,i dont have any idea how to put pictures on the internet. maybe sometime in 2010...i dont even have a camera...just an old fat man who lives in the woods...my sister calls me the unibomber,hehehe..

nice one cc. its strange - many people think it's really complicated to get organics right - but if you get all the ingredients for a good soil mix then the rest usually follows on without trouble - the plants take what they need.

personally i wouldnt know where to start with chem nutes or hydro - but organic comes easy and you dont have to compromise yeild either - and the quality is as good or better than anything

heres wishing you many more trouble free grows in the new decade and beyond

verdant green, what drove me crazy was tryin to find the ingredients, cause i didnt know where to look,hehehe..i now keep a tub full of lc's mix in garage and have learned that the longer it sets the better it gets. made last batch up on sept 22nd. thats 3.5 months of cookin, and i can sure tell a difference..hope you and yours have a fantastic 2010...ps:that experiment you did with dolomite lime helped me out.

Once you have a box of dirt you never go back..

Organic soil is easy easy easy.. Once it's all set up that is..

Love to see pics.

Hell grow some alfalfa in it.. Once it's tall turn it under and mix in new materials like bone meal , azomite, kelp meal, and whatnot and let the microbes turbo charge it.

A living system is the kick ass growing medium.

jackthegrower, how deep would the lc's mix have to be and how tall should you let alfalfa grow before you turned it?.... just throw some alfalfa seeds in it?
