Humidity Issue(flowering)

Hey everyone I am experiencing high humidity during the night cycle. When the light is on my humidity ranges from 50-60% but when it's lights out the humidity goes up to 70-80%.

The tent is in a room that is 10 x 12 x 8 so that's 120sqft or 960 cubic ft. The room at this time of year has a relative humidity of 60%

My grow tent is rather small(4 x 4 x 7). It is about 112 cubic ft, or 16 sqft.

Should I buy a small dehumidifier? I have found a few small ones under $100

Or should I just spend an extra few bucks and get
Frigidaire 25 pint

i am no expert on this but i know i was having the same readings and lost almost 6 oz curing because i missed mold from the flowerroom,,,,so really my best advice read everything in the sticky's and growroom design forum and get a dehumidifier 40-50% RH i think is fine for flowering,,,,,i would stay below 50 for sure, but like i said htere are others with more knowledge than myself,,,,peace and good luck

Thanks for the reply Idoreallytry. I am trying to ensure the safety of the harvest. I may look into a space heater in order to close the gap between the night and day temps in hopes of lowering the humidity, I may get a dehumidifier 25pint, or I may get some of these
Damp Check
but I question weather they are safe to be around plants or not.

sure thing i say 40 is a good number a lot of my pals say the same,,,but over 50 in flower at night is quite possibly asking for problems not guaranteed but why risk it,,,,peace

If your room is RH 60% and you get your fresh air from the room, you
can just either leave your extractor fan on 24/7 or get a seperate 15min (Non-digi)
timer and set to run 30 min after lights out + 15min every hour during dark

Also, found a Soleus 25 pint on craigslist for $100

I think I am just going to get one of those decent 25 pint ones guys. Thanks for the advice. I do in fact leave my extractor fan on 24/7 and I get the fresh air from my room, and the air outside is way to cold. I also have two 6 inch clip on fans inside the tent on all the time as well.

"why risk it" wise words indeed.
