What a waste of taxpayers $$$$$!!!!
I was watching the DEA reality show and they raided a 20 year old Hispanic kid over in NJ cuz he had a gram in his pocket of some schwag!!!!
All I saw was like this DEA team getting fat salries and busting little dime bag operation.
The kid eventually snitched out and led to a bust of about a lb. of schwag.............

Lets try to put these guys out of business by not cooperating with them!!!

While I am concerned about the mother and son in the short term, my real worry lies with the officers who arrested them as well as their superiors; it is likely that they have been misled by agents of Satan himself, and are at risk of burning forever on a lake of fire.
I pray in the name of Almighty Jesus that these officers and any who command them recognize their ignorance, make right their wrong, and pray for forgiveness. Our Lord Jesus, please forgive these well-intended servants for their grave mistake. Lord, I beg of thee, open the eyes of those who follow the the commands of other men that offend thee.
I hope all readers will join me in my prayer for these poor, deluded souls. Follow His word. May He bless us all.

Hmmm when you mention all that 5 years starts to sound pretty light. Im all for smoking weed but unstable people convicted of multiple violent crimes SHOULD be in jail. Im with the pigs on this one, way to ruin a thread.

You have a point, Gramps. The topic was a bust and it turned into accusations and all manner of things that only reflect the worst aspects of our community. I'm not a fool who believes all we have to do is "give peace a chance" when our enemies are crashing airplanes into buildings. By the same token, it is ridiculous to assume that people who get arrested for committing a crime will not use every legal means at their disposal to lessen the consequences of their acts upon themselves. I don't think people should snitch on other people, but it happens so much that I am surprised when someone doesn't snitch out everyone else.
I tell you we will start winning these battles when we close ranks and demonstrate to the rest of our society that we are moral people who can be counted upon to act in a sober and mature manner regarding the selection of chemicals we allow to enter our bodies. Decrying other people for being hypocrites only opens us up to the same charges. We will start winning these battles when we turn to our worst critics and tell them they have a point and we are using every means available to us to educate people about the potential problems and pitfalls of drug addiction, but drug addiction only inflicts a small proportion of our population and we all hope for a day when every addict finds a new way home that doesn't include a path that leads to destruction of self or others. I tell you we will always be the victims so long as we allow ourselves to be painted as victims and we act the part of the victim.
There are no villains in this world and there are no victims; only volunteers.

As much crap as I talk about LA is only because I love it and want to see it do better. The education system is improving. That's the most important pillar for any state IMO, so if they can keep that trend up there is hope.
We have the best food down here though. Gimme some gumbo, fried gator, crawfish etouffee, and a beer any day.

Some of my buddies from up north have a hard time with the mud bugs. Soooooo good. They probably found one of these at the poor dude's house.
