Dont know if this has been asked before, has anyone ever used a tarp zipper? I'd like to use one of these to seal up a door way. Are they easy to use?

yes indeed  i love mine !!
they do leak light though, i hung a strip of dark cloth the length to cover it.
added duct tape to the sides too cause they are not strong enough for the wear and tear i give mine

Try and find the Panda Zips, they cost a bit more but you get 2 and they are a lot more light proof, also my tarp zip gets caught and the zipper part you hold broke off within the first 3 weeks

this can be avoided by taking a razor and cutting all the extra material away from where you make your door cut, i had the same problem at first.
gonna check ouit the panda zips too  thanks

Hmm they leak light and they dont stand up to wear and tear. I like their concept but maybe I'd be better off using a curtain or sheet of panda plastic and some velcro.

i also use magnets sewn into the side of fabric, with a strip down the wall too
i got the long strip kind found in crafts sections
might be another option

Thanks for the tip Keeper i will cut a little extra away
Iron Lion, i have tried a sheet of panda plastic with velcro it works ok for a while but the glue wears off and you will find the valcro stuck together and not stuck on your door flap

The panda zips are great well worth the money and with the 2 zips you can make a door as wide as you want, i unzip both zips roll up my door and tie up with strings
