Growlush products... any good?

I'm looking to buy a small tent to keep mother plants in etc. and at the moment aussieponics have a sale on and everything is dirt cheap. I'm usually suspicious when one item or other is being sold way cheaper than usual but it's the whole range there that's on sale. Now has anyone had any experiences they may want to share regarding growlush products? I mean shit, a 600W digital ballast for $200 odd isn't bad at all.... unless it don't work. Other things however, tents, yoyo's, 130W flouros all that stuff, the quality can't be that bad can it? I'm definitely grabbing a tent, if anyone can chime in with experiences from this site I'd really appreciate it, especially their delivery and the other things people usually don't ask. Thanks people... I'm off to bed...

There tents fall apart, ive heard mostly bad feedback about their stuff.

discount hydro ebay mate get a indoor elements grow tent,its a mylar tent. i got 1 for 199 buks the 1x1x2m good for a 400watt light,shipping is 20buks and takes a few days,also the tent has the cooltube sleeves already assembled in tent for ya ,good luck

Growlush are shit full stop! I have had lamp hangers wired wrong from them had a mag ballast shit itself after 3-4 weeks of use. I have also heard of reports from a hydro store owner of mag ballasts catching fire, digitals ballasts and dud lamps being returned are all common with growlush from his accounts. Its fair to say he has stopped stocking anything growlush.

And as for ordering from aussieponics, go for it if u dont mind a box arriving with aussieponics plastered all over it. Thats just one of the problems people have with them.

Oztoners has thread all about peoples bad experiences with growlush and aussieponics if you dont want to take my word for it.

yer i agree get from discount hydro.. their indoor elements ones are great value, and constructed well

i have a grow lush tent just small and its shat itself with little use.. i have bought a few other things from him and not had problems tho? the boxes were unmarked..

I have a carbon filter from aussieponics works well also centrifugal fan no probs, but i did buy a nutrient pen when my old truncheon shit itself after 6 years, after having some problems with mixing nutes and not getting readings i was use to i bit the bullet and spent the $120 on a new truncheon and did a comparison and the EC readings were way different

The Truncheon was reading 1.8ec and the growlush/aussieponics meter was reading 1.1ec WTF no wonder i had some nitrogen toxicity in mid flower i estimate my plants were getting around 2.8ec for a little over 3 weeks

i was going to get some new 600w globes for $50 each but i think i will give em a miss after reading this thread

just make sure the tent u buy is non toxic.i recommend indoor elements grow tents ,or look up www.newagehydro.com there tents are pricey but quality,there small size should be good for mothers/clones 0.8x0.8x1.8m $250 or u could go the 0.6x0.6x1.2$195 and just put a 125watt 6500k cfl in there for yr mothers/clones. or build a grow box ,bunnings will have all the material u need,it would work out alot cheaper for u,just a thought

Cheap prices.....ya get what you pay for. Ordered a cool tube and received it broken 3 times.....although they did replace it without any question.......depends what you are buying......

Just a tiny one. 40cm deep and 80cm across about 80cm high i think.

seems to go alrite. i only keep my clones in there under some 4 pin fluros.

if i was to get another mother tent i would buy the indoor elements one of similar size tho i think its 1.2 m tall

and a new grow tent of indoor elements too.. the one i got now is similar make as growlush a bit cheap and not many features.

i dont like there globes lower yield and slower to flower totally different spectrum to phillips, i ended up taking the unused back and had them swapped.. Not happy $500 in globes that claim 30% extra light over phillips but just dont compare, Only touched them because phillips was sold out.. Bad move, I wouldnt believe there ballast claims either after this.

True indeed there ballast design is not good at all 4-5 little pissy vents for air flow this makes them run hotter than normal only thing ive ever used from grow lush that worked ok was there globes even then ive seen problems stay clear from there tents had nothing but bad experiences with them...

tent is definately shit quality, but made some modifications and it works. they sent me the wrong parts twice! try someone else!
