Id agree the product from indoor often looks better ,, though not always .
Anyone remember thai sticks? grown outdoor if memory serves , nicest stuff going .
I dont think you can get better than tropical grown gunja , particularly grown at altitude . Ill put up with a bit of dust for that .

When I lived on the Big Island a few years back, they found more than 10,000 plants at 8000 ft elevation.

UV galore, this was before the vog was so bad.... I doubt sulfur dioxide is good for the girls.

California high altitude organically grown OD is by far the best grass around.BY FAR.the complexity of the high.the crazy depth in smell and taste.only thing that beats it is sum Hawaiian OD.my theory is the closer you are to the sun the more complex and strong your grass will be.

also the fact that i can pass high altitude organically grown OD for ID any day of the week says tons.at a med club to boot

my fav is my pure Malawi and the Nigerian Silk.grown at 5000+ feet and finished in a greenhouse w supplemental lighting.finishes while there is snow on the ground.around nov 25 for the Nigerian and dec 15-20th for the Malawi.lol.truly the most stratosphere highs ive come aross.literally like your standing above your body.absolutely amazing.and with a taste and smell that cant be beat.imo there is NOTHING BETTER than sum properly grown high altitude grass

dont get me wrong i love my indoor and mostly focus on it but i still dont think it will ever touch properly grown high altitude OD

This tread is funny... Outdoor sunlight has a time factor of 1.7 for every 20 hours of light.... HID has a time factor of 3.6 for every 42 hours of light. Optimum THC is produced between the time factors of 1.6 to 1.8. Here is a good example you might be able to understand....Overall synthesis potential for the sun is 99.8%...Overall synthesis potential for HID is 69%... Good luck competing with Mother nature...LOL.....

Cool thread! I would have always thought indoor would have been better because of stress limitations, but the outdoor makes a lot of sense. I haven't had the luxury of knowing what I've ever smoked up until, well, 1 month from now, but that's a good argument.

Man I wish lived in Cali. sometimes. It would be cool to be able to know, "oh ok, this such and such and it smokes like this...yes yes quite good, lets try this." and know what you are smoking. One day soon, right? Sorry. Good discussion.

whats wrong with alittle fantasy?

dust would be at the lower end of my worries for me indoors and out aswell.

Living in the most isolated and one of the dries/hottest cities in the world i have a few other issues to deal with.

today will hit 43c luckily i live on the coast where there is very little wind as such during the days but we get a mid afternoon breeze which is normally our saviour, Indoors a sheet of hepifilter over a single 25cm x 30cm underground inlet.
if i lived 50km inland i would be on limestone or rolling ranges of red iron stained stone, the dust up there could be the slightest of problems.

when i see dusty buds i will have a problem .

Greenhouse grinds up nice and clean. I mean the greenhouses here in the mountains harvest hundreds of pds from what I'm told and its all organic. Nothing wrong with that. I mean all those buds, how can they get dirty? Its kindof like working in a food factory (I have many times) If a nose hair gets in the peanut butter you'll never see it.

What grosses me out is edibles. Who wants to eat dead spider mites, neem oil , and God knows what else in a brownie?

You are right. dust is controllable indoors. Sometimes I just retire to my grow room (can 150 with 10" vortex scrubbing the air) just to sit and enjoy the clean air.

Outdoor just seems to get me higher. Indoor there seems to be a race to keep the high going, outdoor i kinda forget that i havent smoked in a while.

But please explain, if you've posted your thoughts on this subject then why not further explain them? I'd like to know what your talking about as well, if it's got some real truth to it then we want to know. Your acting pretty high and mighty not having time to explain, just think about it and help us rather than post a useless theory. Thanks!

I agree, thats why i decided to go with a proper intake fan & industrial intake filter, to make sure my lovely resinous plants dont get nasty dust all over em

Im sure that outdoor environments could really thrive though, if you had surrounding bushes/trees to filter air particles, but yesh, im pretty sure weed is getting strongr because people are growing indoors & creating almost perfect growing environments, so plants can put all their gusto into making resin

Know this is not spam ....For some reason when I just tried to search it. The only way I could find it was to search under People. Anyway it's the only page link that comes up so it's pretty easy to find. Once your on the page click on the PIC link under their icon. From there click on the manual and start reading.. This technique is on the advanced side but the information is revolutionary... Hope this helps

have to disagree with the perfect growing conditions ,, have you asked the plants which they preferred ???? how do you know they prefer indoors ,,, my common sense tells me they prefer to be outdoor ...

I don't know how to put it but when I smoke Humboldt outdoor buds it always has a taste of, air or oxygen or like the smell of the sea.... and then the flavor of the strain. Indoor is always dank and the same aroma through and through. Make sense? Too high, on outdoor WW right now to make sense lol
