I have some Lowrider plants in with my regular 12/12 plants in my tent and some others in a small cab that is going 24 hours currently.

the first 2 fems

the first 2 fems

these l-rs got 20/4 for the first 4+ weeks, then 12/12 starting on the 21st
started them in too heavy of a soil mix compared to the second wave that is 60% coco & perlite added to the heavier stuff
nutes were lucasish using gh micro & bloom, now using schultz 10-50-10 plus drops of superthrive and a tsp of blackstrap/gal
the ones in cab did better starting out with the schultz feeding

Back in my younger days i used to use shultz for vegging, keeps them nice and green. Had a hell of a time getting that stuff to flush out all the way.

They look happy.

Bighill and Good Herb thanks for stopping by.

BH, what Shultz were you using, and how many volumes of water did it take to flush out?

I don't care about the yield from this trial run too much, just wanted to get my AF basics down before popping Mdanzig's Sour 60 beans I've got in the fridge. I still love the concept though. They are cool space fillers.

makes no sense to not care about the yeild, simply becasue u want to learn about the yeild so u can make your sours well uhm yeild. redundant stoner lingo on thesse forums cracks me up daily.

I could swear I warned you once already about the smart comments. Did you think I was fooling?

zen and the art of...

put the seed into the medium
thinking about nothing and everything
water, feed, give light and darkness
nature's process, my intervention
pollen to pistils, plants soon to die
maybe more seeds to pick out
do it again

Kcar and scorpion, thanks for popping in

I wasn't actually trying to make seeds, but wasn't doing any prevention either. Next run will probably just plant them in the yard. Could be a great problem to have - volunteer lowriders everywhere. Just like picking blueberries in the bog. :) overgrow my yard

X, welcome. The ones in the cab don't have a fan on them, but the ones in the tent that are older had a fan blowing on them until the 12/12 plants set up a windblock.
The Lowrider stems are pretty stocky on all but lolli. She has only the cola and 2 little popcorns so the stem is actually strong(-er than it looks) enough, but that is still the skinniest stem I have ever seen with developing nugs on it. The ones in the cab(different pheno?) are stronger like stumpy's.

12.30 update

here are the 2nd wave fems - all taller than the 1st wave .: lighter soil mix is better

the fullest of the 2nd wave

two males from the 1st wave - stuck them in the kitchen window and they have lived so far
picture.php

I have returned to the lucas inspired feeding - just one jug for all plants - simplicity's sake.:pie:
