Looking for a new flavour that finishes in 7(wks flower)

BC grapefruit sounds like what you want

3 great seed versions are available SOL sweet tooth,
Feds mikado, and next generations dynamite.

It is easily done in 7 stays short high yielder with great
bag appeal and smoke is top notch if grown
conciously.
I wish.. I've been desperately searching for Federation Mikado myself. I think it's discontinued. I even offered a guy 2 bros-grim packs of c99 for his pack of Mikado and I got turned down.

but I had no idea that mikado was essentially like SOL Sweet Tooth and Next Generations Dynamite, So those 3 seedlines are all BC Grapefruit? (anyway, if I didn't read that wrong, I just wanted to thank you for the great tip)

Yup essentially the same just backcrossed to
diff males. I'd go with next gens dynamite or
try and find mikado crosses/ f2s are out there
you can find em'

Damn,I grew a whole pack of Shit and didn't get one to finish in 8 weeks. :eggnog:
I would try Flo if yield isn't important.
how long did they take? I split a pack and got all mine to finish within 49 days. I could of let them go longer, but 49 days was fine. My Shit even auto flowered during week 6 veg (18/6). I am trying to buy another pack but can't find them anywhere now.

Flow is a great strain too. But you're right, yield w/flo is only so-so. Great smoke, smell and bag appeal though.

if you can find some sweet tooth #4....that shit's quick and dank. mine was 50% amber at 45 days in a poor organic soil mix under a 600w. That was out of the old SOL adventureously mixed pack.

One thing to know ahead of time with the Sweet Tooth's from SOL, maybe just #3, is that the mom's can be hard to keep for over a year or two and you have to trim the mommas' roots so they don't get rootbout and start flowering. Often have to go from 18/6 all the way to 24/0 just to keep them from AFing. Awesome plants besides that. I love the growth structure, the stone, the taste/smell (even when poorly grown), the speed of growth, just everything about these. Usually a crowd favorite too if grown right for taste.

Be careful with the burmese kush if you choose to go on that advice. I know reef's version and AnnaC's F2 go 11+ weeks often..... Not sure why someone would advise you to get these as a quick finisher when they haven't finished flowering them....

Pot of Gold/golden skush can be chopped at 50-55 for 80% yield with some phenos being closer to finished than others, but usually won't be quite done (at least how i like her) til 65-70.

Look at BOG's genetics. lots of quick finishing, cash cropper, dank stuff in there, as long as you're willing to veg a lil or run numbers

i said brumese kush because it is stated that it finishes in 45-50 days and is thseeds fastes strain and Im growing her right now and it seems like a good strong plant tick quick and bushy and I used to crop 30 lb a month and know what a good plant looks like from the start... i planted hundreds of seeds to find my quality moms thats why mate. I can advice on many different strains but i choose longer flowering strains 60-65 days maybe longer :tree:

+1! I just got LIFESAVER and can't wait to start it. What were your yields like?

hehe i just receive my pack bro...will probably be my next grow. However, using the advanced search section, u can read a bunch of lifesaver thread.
LIFESAVER THREADS

I will grow her in organic soil using a simple recipe, in a 7 gallons pot. Veg for atleast 4 weeks, probably some training to get the bush in a good shape.

ps: a lil tip, start with the last page of the lifesaver threads research, is often better...

peace

About 70 days and they still where swelling and barley amber. They easily could have gone another 2 weeks.
I even tried cutting N early, but no luck.
I still have a few from a second pack.I don't want to waste the time though.Different strokes,different folks.:eggnog:

You're talking about MR. NICE SHIT that is a skunk 1 hybrid right? 70 days? Sounds like you had an anomaly or problems, honestly. It even says on the website 45 days after seeing first signs of flower, and first signs of flower start instantly. So your story is mind bottling, lol. I would try again with fresh beans if I were you. Anybody else grown Shit here? 45-50 days right? Am I trippin? lol..

I can see what you mean if you have a room dialed In on 2 strains and want another to go along with it. I guess in mythought. Not trying to start anything and I know there are plenty of quick finishers but if I had 2 quick finishers and I'm just saying me and rambling one strain that took longer I would still have 2 others that finished quick and have that slightly longer different type of wd and high. But like I said I'm just saying and I understand where you come from. That aside Chocolope is about 7 weeks.

It's all good my brother:) and thx for the Chocolope suggestion I will look into it.

Try any of those strains and you won't be dissapointed I guarantee it.

Why so strict on 7 weeks? I bet if you flushed for another week
your product would be worth the extra buck or two when payday
comes.. Will taste/smell better And much more colorful..

I will be checking into your recommendations first forsure. Without going into too much detail here, I grow in hydro buckets and flush completely through out week 7 changing the resovoir min of 4 times. I rock the 7weekers because that's what works best in my set up and I already have 2 other strains that I love that also finish in 7. I actually harvest every 4 weeks but I veg and flower up to 3 weeks under 400watter's and then bring them out to bigger lights for wk4-wk7.

Yeah sure I could set up something that takes longer but why would I want too? To tell dudes that they have to wait longer and fork over more bread for product that they are already extremely happy with as is, just isn't gonna work for either parties.

do you want really good herb or really fast herb? i mean restrictions like that are like saying... i want to drive a ferrari but it has to run on regular gas...lol. i think saying you have to have a fast strain is like saying bag appeal is important. makes no sense to me. you dont look at herb you smoke it. the effect should be the number 1 criteria. everything else just comes along with that IMO. i would always place quality above speed or looks. there are really fantastic 8 week strains out there so why overlook them for herb that finishes a week faster. there are amazing 10 weeks trains too. patience is always rewarded...
