wassup everybody. This sound weird and one of my friend been prove out there a chemical or nute that can make a bud really purple. Until couple days ago he show me a pound and i won't believe it. that stuff was like aleast 70~90% dark. He won't spill the secret out, i was wondering is there something like that(product can make bud turn more purp) out there?
Any nutes or chemical can make a bud turn mroe purple?

I know that low night temps can purple, or even blacken nugs. Also it has to deal with strain & genetics. I think I may have heard of a coloring product, but not sure. You may wanna try google.
Cold is about the only thing I can think of.

You could isolate your nitrogen nutes (If possible) and reduce them early in flower stage

What about purple food coloring??? Does everyone remember the good ole' celery-in-the-colored-water science experiment. The same thing might apply to mj as well. If you took an inherently purple strain, lowered your nite temps past daytemp - 10, and then dyed the nutes purple; that MIGHT give you a little more purple than just a purple strain by itself.
I guess what it really comes down to is what's the point? The purple is a characteristic of the strain. If you are attempting to manipulate the bud to appear more purple, then that kinda defies the point and is just a novelty. Sure all your friends might say, 'Yo yo yo dawg... dats da mos' purple dank ass dro' i eva seen bra!', but if you're friends are not complete morons then I bet they'd be much more impressed with higher quality as opposed to some novelty.

Red + green = purple.
Add one container of red food color to the rez with every water change. Get the 4 pack size of Durkee Red Food Color, the one that has the tiny plastic vials with cap for food.
This will leach up into the entire plant, turning it purple.

drop your nightime temps to under 60F, 55F is gaurenteed purple, works great when theres some blueberry in the lineage

jk 55f is no "sure-thing" If you make your own nutes simply with-hold P completely with lower temps, less than 45f and color emerges.
BTW, on Overgrow I jokingly posted the "Gatorade" in a chat and some bloke actually did it and blamed me for his dead plants!!!
