I bought some reaaaaally nice cuts of Jack Herer that I lost this summer but I haven't seen the guy list on CL since.... Both had medical reqs and I had some back up with me so it worked out great! Wish I could find the same guy again..... (and yes, BTW I live near the bay area)

^^^No doubt that happened, but how is the fact that you met them on CL relevant? People meet people in bars, on BART, on the street, etc, etc, and the same thing happens.

It's strangers you need to be wary of, not CL. CL just makes it easier for widely dispersed strangers to have the opportunity to meet.
Actually when you go to a bar or on the street and try to score...you are only confronting a few strangers. On CL you are telling hundreds of thousands of people hey look at me I sell pot or hey I need pot and will buy it from you. In my original post It states Buffalo NY CL. It is NOT legal in NY Med or otherwise. In states where it is medically accepted I think Craigslist is a great meeting place for the med community. I guess folks would have to think safety first.:smokeit:

Most of those guys are not in it to help the sick they see$. me and all of our people will not charge someone that is dying and we bring it to them and get to know them on a personal basis. We do charge the people that are not dying but are still ill. Nothing we have is more then 200oz. We all grow for our personal use we all have our cards. 5 people x 6 plants = Allot of help for the sick and plenty for our use until the next harvest. It's impossible for us to only grow our recommended amount. I can pull 4-8 lbs from those six plants. I can not smoke more then a lb in 6 months.

how tall are your plants when you switch to 12/12 when you are pulling lbs?

I sure dont see any reason for everyone to be in it to help the sick as you say,but I guess growers that put out a great product at a good price making many recreational users happy is not as admirable as those that are in it merely to help the sick and money is of no interest.I dont know any real people like that

Those that are in it for the money actually help those that are in it to help people. It's not like the greedy are taking over the saints' territory, but think how many people would pester the likes of WAMM were the dispensaries not available. I've never understood why people get so down on those out for profit. The public library does fine even though Barnes & Noble exists. A for profit dispensary does not do anything to prevent someone from providing medicine at no or low cost. Frankly, their existence may spur some extra people to get into providing for the indigent. The profits are doing the trick in CA. People coming from all over to get a slice of the pie, and it's resulting in significant competition and supply increases. We'll see what happens after they work off this years outdoor bumper crop, but I think retail prices are getting ready to fall off a cliff in CA.

I wonder about a dual system. Charge full boat to the inevitable people who get recs for the proverbial chronically sore big toe, and use the money to subsidize those that can't afford it.

Pythagllio ~ That was a good point, about meeting a stranger in person or off CL. It's a stranger either way. In Ontario, Canada - Weed is still a Criminal offense.

I can tell you this much, as a buyer I would feel much safer showing up, and not leaving the drivers seat of a still running AWD Turbo charged car (Such as, oh I dunno, A DSM - She can hang with street bikes on a hard launch, is well mannered, and vastly superior to any LEO's ride I have seen. (Though Canada doesn't see some of the highway Cruisers the USA sees. Have you ever seen a video where a cop tried to "pit" an AWD sports car? It just doesn't work. Now add in some professional track training...
