White Specks on Plants?

Hey this is my first grow & first problem!

I recently noticed these white specs on the top of leaves, at first i thought they were mould but on closer inspection they are embedded in the leaf so should be bite marks.

I have seen one larvae under one leaf, it was orange-ish in colour & ive seen a few orange/yellow eggs aswell, i also get the odd gnat/fly in my room, not in the tent that ive seen, just around my bedroom...

Ive looked for a long time & not seen any movement or crawling of anything (not spider mites) no huge damage to leaves, just these tiny little white dots & the odd yellow spot here & there

Its really amazing when you can see the microscopic damage to the leaves, the rusty/brown bits aorund the white specks, if that multiplied bigtime, id be in big trouble!

So far ive treated with Pest Off which is supposed to be very reliable

Ive checked all over with 60x everyday, i have yet to see a spider mite, i thought i did but its just bits of dirt, as i see no legs, no movement/crawling... just eggs

Any ideas what that orange larvae could have been?
Leaf miner?
The magazine i got from the grow shop said that white specks are spider mites or leaf miner bite marks & that leaf miner is minor, the plants outgrow damage...

I reckon its weird i have seen eggs but nothing crawing about... the lower leaves are the worst effected for sure, a good few yellow spots, but the underside of leaves are 100% clean, ive made sure of that!

Im just praying its not powdery mildew, id be able to wipe that off right?

The best time to check for mites is early in the morning or late in the evening...at first they are terrificly difficult to spot and kill...by the time you see them it's usually too late and you already have a war on your hands...I've only seen that kind of damage caused by mites...it's best, in your situation, to assume the worst and treat your plants accordingly...you definitely have a pest on your hands...plant needs plenty of K and lots of TLC...fight the mites BEFORE you can easily spot them...be very vigilant...jay:)

Yeah im onit trust me, gonna do a pest off once a week to be sure seeing as its all natural & doesnt stunt growth or anything... i wanna get them cleared in Veg so i dont have to worry about wetting my buds in flowering...

Using a sprayer to blast those eggs off the bottoms of the leaves will help too...plain water will do...add a surfectant to suffocate any mites you don't blast...be glad you caught them early...give'm hell...jay:)

Yeah i spray them with pest off, which suffocates them, then a few hours later or the next day i go back & spray with plain water, i like seeing dirt/residue/eggs being sprayed off!

When i go to look at eggs the next day they look deformed, kinda like they were a perfect bubble, then they've 'popped'

I just gotta be on this shit so tight cause of where im growing... as long as i stay on point & give my plants undivided love & attention i should pull through, i am worried about flowering time though... the sheer stink of these plants (blue cheese) will attract some fuckers im sure

Thanks for the advice, rep
