My brother did aomost 9 years...he needed to go, he knows it too. I don't think for as long, but he was a rarity coming out of the sytem. He's not perfect, but he has a job, kids a wife.

That's the fucked up thing about the whole situation...there really isn't a real way to measure what to do with somebody like this woman. Something needed to be done...

She won't do 10 years either...I bet she does less than 4.

I hope the kid gets the care he needs...that's the biggest deal.

Well my wife is from a medical backround. With todays technology you can find out early if there is something wrong with your kid. Maybe not i Americas backwards ass medical system. Hell you are still debating the abortion issue..

Ofcourse there is the issue of ''neanderthal'' parents who's only biological knowledge is ''food goes in shit comes out''...they get fucked, fat and give birth. Skipping all the preventive steps a normal parent would not..

As i said you have a really fucked up system in America with no free healthcare..maybe all those procedures would cost a billion bucks ? Someone with experience could fill me in on this it would be interesting to know??

I guess it depends on how you see things, but I don't equate humans to be on the same level as let's say a male plant that you can simply throw in the trash because the grower is only looking for female plants.

What if a woman finds out that her fetus is perfectly healthy, but it will be born with only 4 fingers on each hand? Throw it in the trash?

What if a woman only wants a son, can she just throw any female fetuses in the trash? Why not bring back eugenics? It wasn't that many years ago that it was being practiced in many countries, including the USA and in quite a few European countries.

As for free healthcare, there is of course no such thing, because everything costs money, if not directly, then in the form of higher taxes etc. Nothing in life is free, the money to pay has to come from someplace. But don't worry, soon the great Obama will be giving out free healthcare to everybody, that ought to work out real swell, lol. I want no part of it, I will refuse.

I do agree that for America the healthcare issue is a comlicated one. But the last time i was in the states..i met a woman who had to give up eating meat so she could afford healthcare. And that is fucked up. She was by no means a bum. Owned a beautiful home near the beach and an apartment building. But she got screwed with the ever tumbling real estate prices..

Human, animals, plants all the same..you can pat yourself on the back all you want for being a human. But imo it is cruel to bring a retarded kid into this world if you have an option not to. And a fetus is not a baby nor a human yet!

If some people can deem a fetus to be born with only 4 fingers on each hand as undesirable and not worthy of surviving, then other people can also hold even higher standards and abort based on sex, hair color, nearsightedness, deafness, freckles etc.

I do not agree with that at all. We have both. We have molar teeth like plant eaters. And these canine fang looking teeth (sorry my ''dental'' english is not that good!) We definatley don't have the stomach for an all plant diet. We are omnivores.

But i don't think hair color, sex or freckles affect the way you function as a human that much. Deafness is another thing..but im not sure you can diagnose deafness that early. Well vision is more important deaf people can definatley manage their lives just as well as any healthy individual..

Men have larger canines than women. Some men have bigger canines than other men (like wieners and feet). At one point in our history we lost the need to have these fangs, and they receded into the gums. They're still there - just covered with gums. If you extracted a canine from a "studly" male adult it would be the size of a baboon fang. Well not THAT long but pretty huge.
The fangs were for tearing flesh and fighting with other males. Eventually we learned to use knives to cut our meat and clubs to hurt people with and our fangs shrank. The end.
