Is Marijuana the gateway drug as they claim?

The "gateway" thing is just more bullshit spat out by the Govt. As a teen,I drank and smoked cigs before I ever puffed MJ. And I have NOT gone on to harder drugs...........of course except the narcotics and barbituates that Drs have given me...............What a joke. Those drugs are a million times more dangerous than pot is.

Yeah, I used to puff on those when I was a little kid, and the bubblegum cigars, later the Big League chew and Jerkey Snuff.

MJ is the gateway out.

Tobacco and alcohol are the real gateway drugs. I started with Captain Black and a corn cob when I was like 12. Used to go to the pipe shop at the mall and sniff the tobaccos, pretending to be shopping for it as a birthday gift for my dad. They always sold it to me. he he. He had like ten birthdays a year at different stores.

Like others said, it's a gateway due to prohibition. For me, the crew that I smoked with found mushies/acid, and I so did I. I'm REAL grateful that no one was into coke or dope. At some point, I outgrew those friends, and tripping in general. I became a drunk all on my own, and one of the things that really struck a chord in my soul that I had a drinking problem was when I realized how little pot I smoked.

Now as far as a real gateway drug, it has to be real lsd (not that bullshit stp blotter). Doors of perception n'shit .

The thing that totally discredits the gateway nonsense is that if the so called gateway never existed, it's absurd to believe that people wouldn't get high on other shit.

That's the 'gateway theory'. If I had never gotten high on pot, I wouldn't have tried coc***e. Horseshit.

All the 'gateway theory' proves is that people that like to get high, like to get high.

Its diffrent for everyone. Some people smoke pot and are content with it, some smoke pot and may start doing harder drugs, but whos to say what is really the cause? there are all diffrent arguments genetics, enviroment and several others.nSo i guess i dont beilive it is a gateway drug, there are proably many things that lead to long term addiction of narcotics. I mean how can somthing that looks, smells, tastes, and feels so beautiful as an amazing bud have any negative effects on anything except my wallet?
