Really dude? Iso is rubbing alcohol, you really can't find rubbing alcohol in some random drug store? What about Wal-Mart you have one of those?

I have never been to the UK and these are legit questions not trying to bag on you.

A google search brought up information about Isopropyl being a substituent form of propane, but I kind of doubt thats what you're talking about.

In the UK, it will be called "Surgical Spirit", rather than "rubbing alcohol".

Boots or Superdrug will sell it....but probably only in small bottles - like 250ml, maybe more.

A hardware store might sell it in big containers....but I haven't checked.

It's the stuff you put on when you get your ears (or other body parts) pierced - any place that does ear piercing should sell it.

Damn, lol.
Any reason UK keeps things different? I'd like to think they aren't that petty, or is it the U.S that keeps things different?

I'd assume it's UK but I've lived in the U.S my life so I can't form an opinion out of ignorance.

Well I can, I just don't want to.

Considering England existed before the states united to become a USA, i'd say its you guys who keep things different, and that's not me being judgemental - just me taking an educated guess... :D

Kind of what I was thinking, but I've heard a lot of a wicked grudge against the U.S from them. Most of what I heard is immensely ridiculous, but some still manages to make sense.

I still have no idea why UK hates U.S it's all petty childish nonsense to me.
If they do even hate the U.S that is, but like I said all I can see is hate.

Really? I thought isopropyl was a common first aid antiseptic.Just order some if you cant find a store that carries it,I just picked up a bottle from my local grocery store.

PS. It works great for cleaning glass pipes when mixed with a bit kosher salt, just mix and shake.

Around £12 - £15 for a five litre can from fibreglass suppliers or most motor factors , leaves no residue and makes a clean product.

Have heard that acetone is now harder to obtain thanks to terrorist misuse along with the usual health and safety bullshit , preferred it to iso myself with a cleaner product done fast and cold.
