That Lemon Haze looks real nice. My buddy who works at a rather popular dispensary in DEnver showed me a nugget of Lemon Haze. He said the vendor came in and was more boastful than any other vendor for quite a while, and wouldn't shut up about how he "grows the BEST weed in Colorado". Shit cracks me up. Then my friend offered to trade that nug with a nug out of my pocket lol

Thanks Dank! Everyone thinks their baby is the cutest in the room. I don't know how anyone could claim to 'grow the best'. But you won't see mine in a dispensary cause I'm not commercial by any stretch.

Did you get to try it? What did you think, I've got high hopes but it's got awhile to dry.

I have met a few too many people who say "mine is the best" or at least have that attitude. It's an insecurity issue. Just like those who say they have a big dick are really hiding something small

reminds me of a couple years back in early spring. i was watching J5 doin their thing at copper after a day of riding...a shorter guy was standing next to us puffing down by himself, i said nothing more than "damn that smells good!". he cleaned out the nug he was smoking, packed a fresh one, and passed it, dude never said a word!

..... it was some of the cleanest, fruitiest, well grown, clean burning herb i've tasted....top 10 ever for me

i offered to kick him a nug if he rolled out to my truck after the show, he politefully declined so i thanked him and went on my blazed way.

that's how it's done ^ perfect example of the classic CO vibe IMO, attitude of gratitude

Reminds me of my first smokeup in Alaska. We had just climbed out of the truck into a picnic area in Naknek and while we were stretching our legs this dude on a 4wheeler came blasting up and his first words were "Hi. You guys want to burn one?"

Rooted - It's not a bad thing to have a tongue like a sword just remember that the sword can have two edges. Every dealer has been saying the have the best shit in CO for years. When I go to a dispensary I don't listen to the clueless bud tender. They just talk the jive and try to bamboozle you. They let you sample one thing and then do the old bait and switch. In my 23 years I have never seen a dealer or bud tender tell the truth about the bud they sell. They are like used car salesmen.

Last night I read the doc from this thread There is a study in that shows the potency of your plants is not effected by the fertilizer. It basically says if you use more fertilizer you will get a bigger plant but the concentrations of CBG and THC with stay about the same. That means that it doesn't matter how good your nute formula is or the method you use to grow. These things only effect the size of the yield. The main factor that determines the concentrations of CBG and THC is the genetics of the plant.

So if you think your so good that you made the plant produce a higher concentration of CBG and THC you are delusional. If every bragger just got that lab to do an analysis on their harvest then you could look at the analysis of many different buds and determine how dense the grower is. I don't think that the most potent bud would be the most desirable among carnoisseurs either. If it didn't taste good or burn well or smell good lots of people would still be skeptical. What one person likes may not be the same for another. But it may hold a candle to those in search of a piece of paper that tells them how to think and what decision to make.

Red Rocks, Phish this summer, scored lottery for all 3 nights. Had some of my buddy's bubble, walked around the lot and inside puffing people out with the hash and my bubbler, people were taking huge rips and getting blasted... good way to meet kind people and to share in the groove.

not sure about denver but down hear in c springs the local police don't have enough funds to put there choppers in the air. the only thing flying around hear in flight for life and military fly overs when there a football game up at the airforce academy.

Outdoor is much more difficult here and has not caught on yet. I know many people who have tried and failed or have had very limited success. I mean, lots of people have a plant or 3 in their backyards. But very few are going brown dirt warrior stylie in the Rockies.

current legal med grow is some original diesel and some orange kush from a cat named loran..hempy style with gh nutes and the lucas formula.......

If you want the original Trainwreck from Arcata, Medicinal Gardens in Fort Collins has it in periodically.

If you are going to make a trip to buy clones, however, I would consider checking out The High Country(THC) in Rollinsville. When I went a couple weeks ago they had several strains rooted, and get this, all their clones are big, healthy, pest-free AND cheap(most of them are in what looked like a coco based soil mix, which may be a deal breaker for some).
