bubble joints

everytime i make them i roll them out thin, twist them up, and light....and everytime they proceed to bubble down and never really catch on fire....i dont have any drysift or a laminator...is it possible to make them with straight bubble? any tips

FYI> im talking about the pure hash joints that are flattened out with either a rolling pin or laminator and rolled in a hollow joint form..it will stay lit and continue to burn...no tobacco or bud

Not in my experience. Jays of pure hash tend to well, melt instead of burn. I'm normally at a 50/50 mix.

50/50 with what? dry sift? yeah thats what it seems like but no dont got any.....i tried rolling and rerolling what seemed to be a dozen times yesterday and no luck....maybe ill try to mix in some ground bud or something...next time im going to save my 160 to add back for joints....im all about these things if i can become proficient at rolling them..

anybody got pictures or tips?? does the rolling pin work as well as a laminator?

In my experience, hash joints are a mix of either tobacco or cannabis (or any other smoking herb or blend) with the hash. It's easier to roll and burns normally.

no,no,no you got it all wrong........im talking about rolling a pure hash joint, as in flattening it out and rolling a hollow tube...light it and smoke...

I think it's pretty hard to smoke a hash joint without some tabacco and/or weed.
why not use a pipe or a bong for the bubble? that's the way for savoring clean, powerful hash smoke.

i am not talking about rolling a paper joint (as in breaking up bud/bacco and hash then rolling in a piece of paper. NO

i am talking about rolling hash out to a thin paper shape either using a rolling pin or laminator. wrapping that hash paper around a chopstick or something and when you pull it off your left with a hollowed hash joint that can be smoked sin papel y tabaco....o mota.

i just really wanted to know if there are any tricks to making them with melty hash...but it looks like thats not going to happen, so.....

hi. there is a couple of videos on you tube with a couple of guys doing that but i dont think you can get it to stay lid as a regular joint.but i like the idea with nothing else than pure bubble if my throat can handle it.

yeah the hash joint video on youtube is bad ass...he ended up mixing bubble and drysift....dont have the drysift and everything i have melts...

ive recently used some 160 micron water isolate to roll a pure joint. nothing but "hash paper".

it is possible depending on the oil content of your grades.. although adding some dry sift can help with consistency often.

if you have too melty of product the structure of the j cannot be maintained and it seals shut or just melts into goo.. so mixing less oily stuff in is sometimes necessary.

yup, that's exactly what happens. it seals itself closed......

160 alone? hows the smoke? i use the 160 bag for contaminate..never really anything in there, but i work with sativas....

and unfortunately these outdoors sativas are super oily so next time ill make some drysift first....

i was thinking of trying to use some powdered bud\bacco in the mix as a sub for drysift...we'll see

160 alone was gravy.. actually a tiny bit too melty for the process as the one i made pretty much melted shut too.

it was from outdoor gdp so the trichs were rather large.

mixing with plant material might work but the density of resin is greater than that of plant fibers so you may have some issues there..

however... i bet you could just make some rough dry sift thats got a little powdered plant in it to lower the purity..

now you have me wondering as well..

what i was going to do for the moment to try it was toast a cig and ill be able to crumble it to a powder then just start kneading it in...i wish it was drysift but hey....ive been making all bubble down here but i think when MY harvest comes in ill do 50/50 dry sift/water..

truth is i really dont like pipes or bongs and although i enjoy cooking with it, the process of smoking is somewhat ritualistic for me... pure hash joints would be the ultimate for me....

1973-75 A Friend Of Mine Got Married To A Very Beautiful & Very Smart Girl From India. There Had Been Rumors For A Few Years That Part Of The Wives Family Were (How Can I Say This) Not Law Abiding Citizens.

Anyway An Uncle Pulled My Friend Into Another Room For About 1 1/2 Hrs. I Asked Him What Went On. He Said Nothing & Would Not Talk About It Again. My Friend To This Day Say's He Doesn't Remember It. Shit I Was There.

Well When He Came Back To The Party He Had A Nice Wooden Box. Inside Were 36 5 1/2" Hash Cigars. The Uncle Said He Heard Of A Custom In The US About The Groom Handing Out Cigars.

There Was No Tobacco Only Hash & They Burned Like A Cigar. 1 Of 3 Times The Smoke Didn't Expand & Blow A Lung Out!
Damn Memories Sometimes Makes Me Sad. Lol

I Forgot Each Cigar Had A Wooden Dowel Through The Length. Which Was Very Overwhelming "Date Fragrance" That Became Part Of The Cigar! It Was Unforgettable!

bubble joint/bubble blunts are fairly easy to make. you don't need high quality hash and it can be fairly contaminated with stalks; this is the only reason the hash burns and does not melt. when using the good stuff to make a hash joint, one is reminded of the impotence billboards that were posted up all over to curb smoking, and the joint goes limp and melts. i have found that a laminator works best for these, but a member here named false uses a pasta roller. here is the thread with our discussion, and my photos of how to make a hash joint...

well i made some drysift yesterday with the bubble bags, 200gr frozen broken up buds shaken in the 160 bag..works surprisingly well..ill try rolling again

Bud. 50% bud, 50% hash but generally it's closer to 20% hash and 80% bud. Heavy mixes gum up the joint too fast and while I don't smoke much anymore (vape) I do tend to like to be able to actually draw on the joint if I'm smoking it.

big willy - imo, the most important thing is keep the space in the middle (where you would normally put the herb) small enough to get a hit , but not so big that you get a cloud of smoke. good luck. post up some pics if you got em plz

I n I fully understand what you are talking about,, but it sounds impractical,, (unless you have LOTS of bubblehash).

i have a bunch of hash but only a couple grams are needed for a joint...not much....if i get another camera ill post some pics....actually maybe i could borrow a camera but i was always nervous that i would leave a backup copy of the pics on the camera or memory card..but ill see....
