i've been doing a cold air dump for 2 hours before lights on to bring the grow room temps down to 60 every night,im hoping that plus the halide will really bring out any purple in my room,with deep chunk,grape crush and misfit i should see some color!

Well my veg set up has been shit with 3 gal buckets and not making them big enough for the flower room not to mention that the DIY four bucket in a line idea is TERRIBLE. No more than two buckets for a run from the epicenter.
But to correct that I decided to rip apart a UC 8XL throw on another bucket and make my own 3 x 3 9XL. How you like them apples. This is just for vegging because I'll have to go even bigger for flower now, but for the day please enjoy the folly!
So there take that!

Looking at the size of those leafs...makes me want to think your secret ingredient is Kelp extract? I use kelp during veg with lucas formula! I just started experimenting with it on the last grow that cause my roots to grow like crazy. I have really noticed the size of the leafs and the root growth I got when using it. The thing is that I didn't use it all the way thru the grow. The leaves tend to grow out really big, from the last grow I did with no kelp and only lucas(w/kool bloom) I will be adding it thru the veg..and some of the Flowering with a bloom booster to experiment more with.
Kelp is cheap, and very effective from what I seen.
That is a picture of my FAVORITE Purple Kush. I took a very nice top three days into flower popped the nice top into the Rapid Rooter (or EZ Cloner; I can't see the base of the plant to tell 
). The top rooted like a champ didn't even go yellow on any leaves and then just started to grow like a weed! The secret ingredient is a bloom additive so those vegging ladies haven't seen it yet. The way that one plant looks is how I want all my plants to look. I don't know if she could grow any better.
The black unit in front of the epicenter is a 1/10th horse res chiller / heater. It keeps my water at 68 degrees, just where the ladies like it An inline pump pulls the water from the back of the UC through the black hose and into the chiller, then it waterfalls into the epicenter.
Now I need to build another veg set up because I only have this 9 sight system and that is not enough to support the Dungeon and the Upgrade room. So the construction will continue!

how long did it take to get to that point? should i top and train mine?
I am a huge stoner so my best guess is that top came off of my Dungeon PKs when they were 3 days into flower. Tomorrow is day 28 for the Dungeon so that plant was a top 25 days ago, now she is beautiful. PK certainly likes to be topped, she reacts great but the little amazing plant we are looking at has just be going great guns for 18 days or so and hasn't been pruned at all.

I'm noticing already how much vigor the pk has,considering all they have been through on their trip,the fact that they are growing 1/2' to an inch a day now in astounding,I can see a month might not be too soon to expect to have one ready to flower.
I'll be interested to hear what the secret stuff is, at least I know I can pick it up at the store for once. Any more hints? Is it organicish?

Purple Kush is a strain of Cannabis[1] intended for use as a psychoactive drug. It is primarily indica with hints of sativa, and is most commonly known for its purple bud. It grows between two - three feet in height and two feet around. Each plant yields between 10 and 18 ounces if grown properly. I guess someone forgot to tell Wikipedia we don't grow PK bushes of 2 - 3 feet. The LVPK Hydrosun Icmag version grows as big as a house if you want it to and I set the screen in my dungeon at 4' and there are thee plants with tops higher than that. So here is the 75 square foot Dungeon. I am not happy with the layout and the Plant Manager will be designing a larger custom system.
In the Dungeon there are 6 PK clones (3 large and 3 small), one Black Berry Bubba (smaller than the one in veg that has 4 more weeks to grow), and one VERY SPECIAL PK from seed (my own seed). I am happy to have a few beans and I am going to get off my stoned ass and send Xmas cards to Greece, Australia (need a PM ScrubNinja ), and South America (Where you at Sero and GKN?).
So here they are at 28 days. I added the last 30 ml of the hydroponic only non-organic secret ingredient from Australia this morning. We should see some amazing changes over the next four weeks.

this run is looking very dialed in hydro,lush healthy growth,no tip burn,and nice leaf gloss. I bet your going to see some nice purpling on this run. Are you noting any extra vigor from the seed plant?

Well she is named after the sister of Albert Einstein. She is an Afgan Pakastani Kush that came around as a bag seed because if not treated well she'll fuck you (or herself as the case may be)
Einstein was a little to harsh for me. It had a super strong kush taste that bordered on burnt tire. I am hoping for a sweeter outcome with this kush. Also The Apprentice thinks the secret ingredient may help bring out natural flavor as well as swell the buds big as can be. I'll release the secret in about a month after I harvest some PKs with it and can report what I think about how it effects my favorite strain.
Well Maja here is the most purple of any plant I have ever grown. As you can see the UC really keeps plants green and lush. I am going to have to figure out how to get my plants ripening instead of just being happy sitting in 100PPM and staying green for the last TWO WEEKS of flush.

Well the Upgrade Multi UC is done. I got about an oz of Afgoo 2oz of AK47 3oz of Diesel (two plants), so 6oz off of 4 plants really shitty.
The next four plants were Head Band 6.5oz Sensi Skunk 10.5oz (two plants) and Maja 4.5oz (very respectable considering this crappy outcome). There was a fair amount of smoke taken in the harvest and left around so I'll just say 28oz total from the Multi strain upgrade room and 28oz from 7 little purple kush. 56oz or 3.5lbs from the first run of the UC systems in a standard bedroom.
The UC system is easy piece of cake, but I was getting bigger yields off of my 5gal DIY buckets. The UC are great and will stay around but I will be re-upgrading my flower rooms to custom buckets. The UCs will be used for veg.
