Will this work?

I'm interested in purchasing Blue Mountain Organics products. The price is cheap and a few here have had good words.

My plan is to use LC's mix at listed ratio's...
1. promix
2. perlite
3. ewc
4. d. lime
Now my question is...can I get by just feeding veg and bloom formulas starting low and working up, or better to make aerated tea? I won't be using anything else as it has guano, ewc, mol., comfrey, etc. already. Thanks and Happy Holidays

I use a Flora Nova (Grow) for veg---Flora Nova (Bloom for Budding)....(Sometimes as well as my own tea) On the side of the house where i use Promix,,,,,

I have a question tho.... Why the additional perlite??? If your useing Promix (B) then you might wanna go to the (H) as it has more
perlite... Just curious.

Thanks Baza, on the organics for beginners, of which I certainly am 1, recipe LC's #2, says 2 parts perlite.

I would actually rather use coco, but have heard bad things about bugs.

looks good to me.

I've done a little of promix with lime in veg with bottled nutes

Coco is no replacement for perlite in my opinion.(wait am I confused about your meaning?) It passes air well but I feel it it dense. I'm not very familiar with promix, but I'm guessing you could benefit from some compost in the system too, especially if you get the extra perlite in there.

Glacier Gold is semi-local, and has a couple of potting soils. I use these to cut my rootorganics mix. Both are compost based(60-70 %) with a little perlite. The other 15 to 20% is either peat or coco depending on which you pick.

I cut my root organic potting soil at about 20 % with the glacier gold. I add a bunch of other crap too but it aint necessary. I like the GG cuz its a cheap(EWC so expensive to use as ammendment!) and plentiful source of humus and compost, plus I feel my Roots is too fluffy. I never saw any myco populations in my straight Roots, but since adding some real soil it has reappeared. I use the peat mix since I got plenty of coco already.

If you do decide to do teas the compost will benefit you greatly in it also.
By the way, nobody seems to know, Lowes has dolomite lime. 30 pound bag of it for like $4 bucks.

Sounds like a good plan! Dont know much about Blue Mountain Organics but they seem like they use very quality organic ingredients.

I used the BMO lineup this last grow as a backup fertilizer and am quite happy with it. I typically use dry organic fertilizers in my soil mixes, which are recycled and re-fortified with amendments.

Additionally, I use compost teas with different recipes for both vegging and flower. The reason I used the BMO along with my other fertilizers is that I am using co2, and the plants were needing additional food. I used the BMO at 1/2 strength every other watering to keep up with the plant's accelerated metabolism.

IMO, BMO's lineup gives you a good fertilizer for a great price. I can see color changes in the leaves overnight when the girls are given a feeding of BMO.

There are a lot of liquid organic nutes out there, and for the price, BMO is right up there.

I'm glad to see BMO getting a little love.

I'm a new grower who has completed one plant outdoor and a small indoor grow. Both were in soil mix w/ perlite and a little chicken manure compost. I fed them with the BMO lineup and watered in molasses.

BMO Super Plant Tonic is the shizznit my plants love the stuff. I dip my cuttings in it (1/4 tsp per qt.) stick them into perlite, mist once a day and have roots in about 5-7 days.

Does anyone have a good feeding schedule for veg and flower using BMO nutrients?

MO, thanks for the tips, i really want to just mix the bmo in water and forget about the teas, just because i m lazy. Course if I get a card I'll just call you!

BD, i like the price and am going to order the guana and ewc, seems top notch ingredients.

BB, I'm newer than new and just trying to line up something good and if cheap all the better.
