There are 2 trillion books with 10 trillion ideas and a FaKillion more too come, remakes are just targeted towards how much money they made then verses how much they could potentially make now.
Recycling money kinda funny.

They already own rights to these originals, so they don't need to spend money buying stories

I am looking forward to seeing some of them, I own a lot of movies, I like seeing how they figure they make some better.

what I have a problem with is people like George Lucas, going in and tinkering with parts

I'm looking @ the others...but I agree, there are great books out there...I wanna see the 'C.O.B.R.A. series by timothy zahn...they also seem so relevant to out times...

The Last Starfighter looks like a sequel, not a remake....original character comes back to earth 25 yrs later...with company.

What I would love to see, are DVD and OND releases the same time as the theater

Clash of the Titans look like it could be pretty epic... The special effects in the old one made it look kinda cheesy... Now with CGI they can do it the right way (hopefully)... and with Liam Neeson as Zeus it has potential for great win

Clash of the TITANS!!!! My god its been ages (damn I'm getting old) but when I watch movies like that, Conan (all of them), Lord of the Rings, etc... I just love movies like that.

And Red Sonja huh? Too bad Arnold is past his prime and the real actress Brigitte Nielsen blew all her cash on drugs (and I think got laid by Flava' Flav!!) Huhhhhh........ the good old days my friends!

(the modern-day Conan and Red Sonja I guess? LOL)
