Looks like you got some nice color out of that GDP, looks real stellar. You'll enjoy that headband smoke for sure. Happy harvest

hey everybody! thanks for the replies guys, things are looking good over here. the GDP is finishing nicely and should be coming down in a few days. im just trying to be patient and wait just a bit longer for the lower buds to ripen up a bit more. the headband will keep going for a couple more weeks till 75 ish days im guessing.
hey icough! i knew you would make an appearance in here at some point, and yes those GDP really turned out to a beauty with those dark colors. she is fun to watch as she gains more and more color, almost so dark she looks black in person. i was able to score a sample bud of the headband from a friend, and now im getting anxious for those to finish after a taste tester.

i promised a shot of my headband.
i have a few things i will do different next time i grow this headband out again...
first, i didnt know this was a 10 week strain, so i will adjust the nutrients to work out better for a 10 week flower cycle vs the 8 week cycle i fed this lady. i use house and garden nutes, so i add different nutes depending on what week of flower they are in. so this will help.
second, this headband stretched way more than the GDP. i have the light as close as i can get it to the headband so i can get the light as close the lower GDP buds. shorter veg time will be good, maybe i wont end up with bleached and heat stressed buds. luckily its only a couple tiny spots.
i think she will be a happier plant next time around.

Looks like you still have some sweet looking buds in there. Growing a new strain for the first time is always a trial run, but looks like you got a good amount of smokeable buds. Can't wait to see what you do with her next time around.

Sweet dude, pics look good. I can't wait to smoke some of that GDP, if you want we could swap a few buds so you can have a little diesel before your headband is done.

Wow, great use of 400. Those stalks look huge, like and inch or more in diameter? ++
wow time to update... i have taken some shots of the headband right before i cut her down, and a few shots of the dried buds. both of these ladies are some real quality smoke. great taste, smell and high. i already have 4 new headband clones that just went into my new 600 hps stealth cab, and right next to them are my 2 lavender clones in the 400 hps cab. this is my first time running the 600 cab, so we will see how she does. lets see if it will fulfill my high expectations i have for it.
