Hermie Tops everything else is fine ??

temps: 75 -high 50's at night
500 watt MH(Yes I know, I just didnt have money for HPS)
organic soil
strain is grape punch
Day 45 of flowering
problem...

Tops of one plant look like they are finished but are not even developed yet. They are showing brown pistils at the tops of one plant and the other plants seem to be just fine. The buds are thin and whispy for the most part, I dont know if im going to get a good yield out of this =(. What should I do with the main tops that seem to have stopped growing? Is this plant a hermie or is this light burn of what is it? Help a first time indoor grower out please =) Thanks in advance The first two pics are from the plant with the problem and the third is a top from another plant seemed to be growing fine.

So just give it more time? eventually it will get back on track and bud out more right?

How is the temp at your canopy level... might want to throw a fan in blowing the hot air away over the top of the canopy.

I live in the mountains and the night time cold will totally slow growth. where is the bad plants situated in the garden. Are they closer to outside of the grow and where is the good plants that are not affected. Its definatly the cold, solution add a oil convection(radiator type) to the grow and set it on a timer to come on 15 minutes before the lights go out since it takes a few minutes to get to proper heat, and just play with it to find the right setting to leave it on. dont get a digital one cause the timer wont turn them on.

IMO, looks like a foxtail. Warmer "lights off" temps might help.
