1 blade and 3 blade leaf problem.

I have a 4th generation powerplant cutting that is producing 3 and 1 blade leaves. Nearly all the plants are solely these leaves and a couple have 1 or 2 normal leaves.

I have grown this strain for 4 generations without a problem.

Any suggestions as to the cause would be welcome.

what stage/week? If its late, id say stress light like leaks. If its just getting started from a clone, then its revegging. Ive had some take forever to start throwing out normal 5-7-9 finger fans if the cutting was taken in flower.

they are in week 2 of flowering don't think the cuts were flowering. no light source from outside the grow room so couldn't be a light leak.

Its gotta be something stress related. Too bad we dont have bud doctors that make house calls. Sorry I couldnt help more. Maybe some more info on conditions could help?

I'm having the same problem @ week 3 of flowering, from seed.

I'd like to hear some more opinions about this problem.

sometimes cuttings take a lot longer in the veg state to revert back to full leaf stucture and just puts out preflower and flower leaves.. i see a lot of this with clones that are not veged very long and then flowerd.. never heard of stress causing this though and never had a quality prob with the erb... seems theres less leaves though .. may be a good thig?

Agree with greensavage that it's genetic. I have a Jack Herer cut that rarely puts out 5 point leaves unless you veg it long.

Agreed with the last two posters. It happens sometimes, and almost always it snaps out of it. Generally when my plants stretch hard, they get the single and three bladed leaves.

mine were doing it until i moved the lights closer to the plants. im actually curious if this was the fix for it or if it was coincidence
