Looks good so far.

Can your plants grow up and touch the lamp without getting damaged? I realize it would block the light. I'm asking about the leaves on the branch that would be touching the light.

Hi

Actually I don't know. I can hold my hand to the panel and it feels somewhat warm. But not much, way less than fluoros imo. I'd suspect that plantparts touching the lamp would get lightbleached at some point. I really don't want to test that :). Quess I'm gonna keep them few inches away at least until somebody with experience advises otherwise.

Doesn't her website say it's best to have the light something like 3-6 inches away from the canopy?

Yes, so it seems. I'm aiming for that when the stretch-period ends. They are just a bit more far way now, but in the more bloomy stage I plant to keep them around 3-6 inches. Probably needs lots of tieing as in my situation I cannot really adjust lamp height as good. Need to work on that efficiency again..(mumbling to myself)

I just received a 63w and will be doing a side by side with a 150HPS in a tent. On her site she says 12" from canopy is optimum. She has stated before that it will bleach if it is to close... good luck I'm subscribed.

Thanks for the comments

Here they are at the start of the 2nd flowering week. Because of training it's kind of hard to tell how much stretch has been happening at this point, they gotten..um,denser. But then again it's only the 8th day since cycle-change so I might have quite much ahead..we'll see.

Looking really nice man....after this next week or so stretch should stop and u start seeing them flowering. By the looks of it u should get a pretty nice yield once it all fills in.

Hi

Thanks Irie

My ozonefilter blew today so I put the old carbonfilter back, might need to make some adjustments to it (bigger fan or change the guts of the filter), but maybe it's better that way (possible health concerns jada jada). Also did some rearranging to the strings to even out the canopy.

Pic of very first flowers other than pre-flowers.

Hi

Adjusted strings and lamp again, it's about 20 centimeters from the tops now (8 inches or so).

Looks like the neville x mangos in the front need bit more feed (actually haven't given em any up to this point).

i'll be watching this one closely as i have a similar sized cab :)
the plants look like they have responded well to the LED's so far

I'm really liking it, good work! I have the same space, anxious to see what you can do with it! I'm used to wide open areas and now am constricted to 2x2 with a 150 and 100w of CFL's... I too have a haze, but you managed to keep yours under control a lot better. I wasn't prepared for the stretch... (stupid of me, I should have known better) They will be worth the wait...:watchplant:

Thanks for the nice comments people.

Let's hope that everything will be allright, no nuteburns/deficiencies or hermies (biggest concerns). Gotta keep eye on them as I believe that they will still stretch for some time. So far they're quite nice size.

I'd love to switch to the big plasma in the sky, but this region doesn't really allow other than afs 'cause of the long days in the summer.
