So heres the plan. Trying to set up this setup to harvest one 4x8 tray every month. Each tray with approximately 40-44 clones in 6x6 rockwool cubes with drip lines.

Starting off with the veg room. Very simple
1000w MH
435cfm exhaust out of room w/ passive intake
4x4 tray with 54g res flooding every 8hrs for 5 mins.
Lights on 24hrs.
Pics are at day 20 of tray life after being transplanted from 1in RW cubes into 6x6 RW cubes.
Been feeding Nutriplus Grow A&B, Sugar Daddy, Diamond Nectar, Superthrive foliar every now and then.
PPM between 1000-1500 entire grow, been recently seeing some nute burn due to low res water level. Have corrected the problem. :)

So veg room is under control. Stays nice and cool during winter months.

Onto the veg Room

Here i have a lot going on.
4-1000w HPS in a row for my
2-4x8 trays with drip manifold for 40-45 sites, cooled by
2-435cfm 6" centrifugal fans. lights have in/out take out of room
30-2.5g ebb/flow buckets w 55g res

I am planning on every month moving my veg tray clones (45) to my 4x8 trays for a perpetual sog type grow. I am stuck on a few setup things:

1. should i use one reservoir for both 4x8 trays, or two separate?
the plants will all be flowering but at different stages, should i
keep two reservoirs to better handle the nutes for each tray or just one res for both trays?

2. if one for each, how many gallons should each be?
if one for both im thinking a 115g res. is it enough?

3. the buckets do not need anything. they will use leftover light coming from 1k's to help with blooming.

ive included some pics of veg room and plans for completion of flowering room. take a look and feel free to ask.

buckets will get either bubba kush clones or cuts from a mother OG im preparing.

please ask questions as i feel like im missing few things and could always use another set of eyes on this project.

thanks icmag

Root pics next time. Should I get a coco mat? Thinking of just putting hydroton in tray unless cocomat is recommended.

Flower room almost finished

Plants are huge now. 3days into flower. Added blosson+ and grow nutes for stretch. Bud Sites forming alrdy. 68 degrees always. Any ideas to lightproof a window ac from the outside other than what I have now?

Socal, Looks as if you have planned this thing out for a while. Did you end up running one res per tray or a larger size for two? I think you would have better control over week to week nutrient shifts with one per tray. If they are going to be on that continuous cycle, with more than one flowering cycle in progress in the room, you would have the option of flushing on a tray to tray basis. Is there a reason you are running low temps in your rooms? Is your hope to purple the strain with temps below 70? The reason I ask is I have run my rooms at between 76-78 F and was thinking you could give your AC unit a break, in the process save a little cash on your eventual electrical bill. Things look healthy in there, good luck on the first run.

What's up guys. Haven't updated but ended up going with two res. One per tray. I had 40 in one tray and finally split them to 20/tray w 1res/tray filled w 50g per week. The low temps are because I fear spider mites and spray with safe spray weekly but raising the temps to give ac a break does sound more efficient. They're 3weeks into flowering and have pruned up the bottoms plenty. They stretched quite a bit first and second week of flowering. Need to raise lights somehow. Next run topped plants are a must. CO2 that I've never used before is doing wonders on the buds and making them super sugary. Nugs arent filling in yet but already huge and sugary
