Anybody here read the med grow bible with Jorge? A friend of mine just picked up a copy and has been studying it like a test review. It seems very comprehensive and I know it comes from credible industry sources. I just wondered if anyone had determined any of the material included to be biased based on sales needs or just generally unsound advice. I just dont want to assume knowledge based on any unreliable information. Thanks for any feedback.

i dont know what kind of reaction this is gonna get but i saw all three of jorges dvds, and all the subject matter is all valuable info to know but it seems to me that it was like he was reading from q-cards, i think he is more like a reefer mascot or "celebrity". Im sure hes been around more rooms than alot of people but i dont think hes ever run one himself, just my opinion. I dont think he has the superior knowledge that he portrays thats all.

Recieved the book today and have had a quick flick through, looks absolutely stunning and it's huge. Really nice book, would make an excellent xmas prezzy for a grower. Happy I got this now.

The book is a good reference guide with lots of useful info, I read it through a few times before I setup my first indoor grow and I had a real nice room. Once I had the room and the plants then I went to the book to tell me how to grow them, that's where I hit a roadblock. They explain everything about setting up your room, strain selection, where to get seeds, how the plant grows and reproduces, environmental factors and security but I couldn't find specifically how to grow a plant out start to finish. So there I was with a bunch of clones sitting in DWC buckets starving to death because I knew nothing about hydro feeding. Soon after their untimely demise I started looking for answers and found grow forums, I started at a smaller one and eventually found Ic so here I stay. I believe Jorge has another book for actually growing plants, but with Icmag at our disposal grow books are more of a novelty than a necessity. You can never have too much information so I still buy books.

Well Maijah... you have just spouted allot of info on a subject you know nothing about... great job!

I believe he said he watched the 3 DVDs and that was his opinion..what is yours?

That book is the best reference for growing cannabis that you can get.

Hey Jorge, I mean Funk, I think ICMAG blows that tourist book away...just my opinion..

I find it hard to believe that anyone could consider the Medical Growers Bible not worth the $30.00 price tag.

While the same information found in the book may be available on ICMAG it's simply not the same. Most people that frequent this site can't even use the search function let alone find everything they need to know wrapped up in a couple hundred color filled pages.

The book is ideal for anyone interested in learning how to grow. Statements like Jorge is just a celebrity grower or he doesn't even grow himself shows real ignorance on the posters behalf.
Further, it's so damn disrespectful of a man who put so much of his life towards the community.

BEST BOOK, EVER.

ICmag rocks the house!

Even if you typed in "how to cut clones" or "taking clones from a mother" you can find 25 different ways to cut clones, and every book is going to give you "their" version of how they do it. Clones are just an example.

You can find anything you like on ICmag on any topic and from people who are doing it Real-time with pictures. Save your money on the books guys!
