Plants in dixie cups of prefert soil

I was "gifted" 4 1 week old seedlings of Sweet tooth in dixie cups of Schultz pre ferted time release soil. The plants are already looking pretty burnt, can I go buy some non ferted soil and transfer the small seedlings into new cups or is it already too late for these girls?

Hard to say without a picture, but a repot into lighter soilmix may very well save them.

Can't find my digi at the moment, Iphone cam had to suffice

The beginning leaves on the first one are burnt and almost dead and the other one has a bit of burning on its tips, all 4 show symptoms like this

they don't look...THAT.. bad..!

I wouldn't give up, yet! Hand spray water when needed to keep the soil moist. Do the cups have drain holes?...and add soil if they grow and stretch. Weak fluorescent light (6500K).. is all they need for the first 3 weeks.

I'm not going to give up on these girls, I've seen plants in much worse shape produce killer nug. The cups do have drain holes, should I just wait until they need to be transplanted to give them clean soil or should I do it now? They don't look horribly disfigured from the nutes just yet but you can tell they aren't completely loving their environment

Well I transplanted one of them the root stayed completely intact, I'm going to see how it reacts before I do it to the others

If you want to do the least amount of harm to the roots, get a bucket, fill it with water, dip your cups in and let the soil loosen from around the roots. As the soil dissolves into the water you will be left with just roots and a plant, you can then transplant it into a mix with no preferts. Just like transplanting from a cloner into soil. Make sure the new soil is quite moist, and be careful with those roots, they are easily damageable.

How big are the holes? People never make enough or big enough holes in solo cups. I make at least 8 BIG holes about a half inch across with a poke and twist of my kitchen knife. Also, that old mix looks too heavy, needs perlite. To me they look more overwatered than overfed.

If you're saying that because the soil is wet in the picture it's because I had just watered them, I let them get bone dry first

Little plants in little pots never need to be allowed to get 'bone dry'. Seedlings can't take dehydration stress like big plants with lots of leaves. Also, the fertilizer salts in the mix get more concentrated when the soil is allowed to get too dry, which is probably why we're seeing the nute burn.

Nemissis, I would remove those pictures if I were you.
Anyone can access your GPS coordinates through them, so unless growing weed is legal at your place, better delete them...

Not only is it possible but it's easily done in 2 clicks:

I removed the actual coordinates, but anyone can access them right now.

And he's not the only not-so-smart smartphone user on this forum...

My 2 cents:drum:
