Hey guys, i have several green poison femd plants on the go, they are grown in coco coir, fed with canna A+B, they are now in 3ltr pots and 3-4 weeks old from germ, they have grown at an explosive rate, and i fear have stretched like mad, they are under a 250 mh with the light never more than 6" from the plants adjusting every day to stop them burning.
They are now 2.5ft tall and have 5-8" gamps between nodes... not very bushy but tall, not weak looking though with 3quater inch thick stems.
Is this feno prone to this or am i missing somthin?
Temps 70-80 lights on lights off 65-70.
any help with this appreciated.

thanks

To cold at night! I personally would bump the thermostat up to the 75-85 range day and only let it get down to 70 at night. Try topping them too????

Oh OK, then Sorry your chit will continue to stretch! Just my personal experience you dont want to much temp swing or cold during the first 2 weeks of 12/12. Good luck then:xmastree:

Stretch has a lot to do with genes, but kcar is right about the N, high nitrogen will cause stretch. But since you said you were now in 12 n 12, expect them to stretch for the first two weeks or so, then they will start to focus on flowering....try topping/fimming next time as i wouldnt do it since they are in 12 n 12, that will help you get the bushes you want or what the plant is capable of, by promoting side and undergrowth.

Thanks for the replys, im aware that N will promote stretch, however they have had the same dose as all my other grows and i have never seen stretch like this, i did top 2 of them and they just kept on stretching,
i have good temps, plenty of ventilation and moving air, but cant see why these have stretched so much,
I will take some pics tomorow , maybe that will help.

Thanks again guys
