Sir-Well here is our situation. In my state I dont really have any restrictions on lighting or canopy size, just plant numbers. I am currently allowed to grow 12 plants per patient, so my lady and I are allowed 24 since we are both registered patients.

I plan on buying a 30amp timer box($299). It basically plug and go. You plug a 3 prong 240 cord into an existing 30amp 240volt socket like the one for a dryer. It then provides you with 4 240 volt outlets available. So basically once I have this I can run up to 4k providing that I have a dryer socket handy lulzz. C.A.P. makes the same thing basically but they call it the CAP Master Light Controller, the only diff is that with the cap controller you have to plug in an extra timer instead of having one included..

But to get to the point... I want to run 2k to start out with. But what is frustrating me is the fact that I have to grow tree style because I have limited plant #'s. This is because drying plants and clones count towards my plant total. My good buddy has been having fantastic results with hempy buckets since I turned him onto them, and I am thinking about doing large 7-8 gallon hempys 4 per 1k. 4 seems to be the magic number for me. This is the reasoning..

4 under flower light#1

4 under 400 watt in veg
4 in clone under the dome
4 hanging drying
4 mother plants of diff strains..

That is the only way to work it out at the moment.. If I were to caretake for another patient then I would up all the #'s by two, so I would have six in each stage or there about.

But with only a total of 8 in flower at any time it's going to be hard to do anything other than trees.. But anyway that's what been on my mind as far as the future setup.. Ever changing ever evolving.. so who knows what it will be by the time I get there..

Alright ya'll, I have a few pics that I took from tonight.. First we will start with the veg. I just transplanted up all of these girls from 4.5" square pots up to the 1.6 gal pots. Some will stay in veg longer than others, The very sativa CT#4, will go into the flower tent in a week or two because they stretch like crazy.. I am going to veg out the CT#2's a bit longer because they really dont stretch at all, but if they get big they will produce huge nuggets.. SO we will see..

Now onto the flower tent. Everything but the Thaihazexskunk1 has been in flower for 35 days. They are doing well. We can start with the Pollen chucks, they are in the back row.. Should fill in nice..

Here are the Thai Haze x Skunk#1, they are looking great this round.. Check em..

Now this is an example of the Indica pheno of my two Crash Test originals. She has a very hazy scent, super spicy.. This pheno doesnt stretch at all, but makes some very large buds. This was the other plant that had def problems awhile ago, she recovered very well, check em out.

This is the other sister of the Crash Test.. Very sativa pheno, very sweet fruity smell and taste.. My personal fav right now.. And the buds are extremely tight/dense, I will get over 2zips from this plant.. This is also the plant that had the really bad lockout b4 I flushed it. You can see how its leaves are still light colored and spotted in places.. Starting to get better..

bro if i could grow 24 trees i would run 4k 6 per light... thinking a UC12 per light set. i would rent a diff house or cheap 1 bed apt to veg in lol at harvest i would take chopped trees in huge wardrobe boxes back to veg room and have drying box built in same veg room with a scrubber. shopping around u can find landlords or places for next to nothin and growing straight LBS 2g for a run aint shit for rent at this point and allows 12 flowering plants at the house.
i would save up 6 months rent and pre pay and just let it restack. if you could get 6 LBS every 2 months and use 1 LB to pay for 4 months or 12LBs worth of new shit. i can find 1 bed places for like 6 hun a month. 1 elbow could pay for 10 months chopped up theoretically if ya got it like that of course hehe. but around here 9-1350 is going price for qp. of chronic. work or headies dependant. when i say work i mean average $50 sack shit.

this of course is assuming i could have 12 flowering monsters at home legitamately and just go under the radar with the veg/ drying spot. are you allowed to transport the plants at all. i would assume you are allowed to aquire clones and i dont see how 12 clones on the road is any differant than 12 mature vegative state plants. it is all a matter of age of plant IMO but still both in veg form. rules rules. once decriminalized in a state for less than 99 plants it is almost better to be off books so to speak to not deal with the harrassment. if ya get pinched pay the fiddler and all that bs. if ya only growing personal then it is a better idea unless you plan on being a professional of some sorts to where your medical pot use is scrutinized and frowned upon( i know a few people who have hurt their career by becoming registered medical users as they had to disclose info e.g. teachers) the school district is a good example.
but i digress lol all i am saying is where there is a will there is a way to overcome those plant count blues
grow safe homie just my take on it. here we are allowed 7 plants total, 3 in flower, up to 4 in veg and only 1 oz of dry final product at any time and u are subject to inspection to my understanding. what is the point then in my case i am better off being the way i am and staying under 99 keeping a low profile and in great standing with my neighbors.
no fear of jackers(from 1 persons big mouth is all that takes) narks, or the law unless i bring em here. just keep paying the bills and keep the smell inside hehe

Our Mt. just opened a couple days ago.. I prolly wont even ride till I head out west later this winter.. Just not worth it when we dont have any snow..


SIR- hahahahahaha first of all I expected nothing less than that from you, thanks for all your input.. I dont think I am going to go the extra crib route. I might pick up one more patient and then I will have 36 to work with and all can move smoothly..

I might be moving up to 2k sooner than expected because I really want to get as much out of these next two harvests as I can..

As far as transporting plants goes. The law only stipulates that they need to be kept in a locked/enclosed area out of sight from the public. So obviously these are open to interpretation. To me a U-haul with a pad lock is just as much a locked and enclosed as anything can be. But on the real I dont feel much like moving plants between local's. I would rather just pick up more patients and make my own home setup larger. I am allowed up to 5 patents plus myself, so that is a max of 72 plants, which would be more than enough. I would just rather not caretake for people that I am not very good friends with just to avoid any and all the hassles that I could see coming out of that..

Yea that whole inspection thing is a scare tactic the state police try and use to make growers think that they have to let police in their homes. What they dont want you to know is that because you are allowed under state law to posses, use and grow marijuana, any warrant they might be able to get would be forfeit.. unless you were dealing out of your house, in which case you are an idiot and were bound to get caught anyway, then they could get a legitimate warrant for that.. But if you are really following the rules, they have no rights to come in. They are agents of state law meaning their job is to enforce State laws. Federal agents enforce federal law thats just how it goes. Although I know that there isnt much that is going to stop a 'rouge' cop from kicking your door in.. Fucking piglets...

But enough of that talk.. I wanted to apoligize again for leaving this thread unattended for so long. I have just been working really hard at this last push in school and I think I really pulled it off nicely. I took my last exams earlier this week and I aced them all (averaging 91% on 3 exams) who said potheads aren't smart? I am officially going to graduate from college this weekend and I am fucking stoked!!! Not to mention I am at day 56 right now and will have a couple Crash tests to harvest here in a couple days, then more CT and PC's to follow. But anyway I have family coming into town tonight but I plan on finally doing an update before they get here.. Cant wait to show you cats what its looking like down there.. Peace.

Well all, or few since there are only a couple heads watching this anymore lol.. I have those pics I promised. As always later, than they should be but fam showed up early this weekend and it couldnt be avoided.

Other than that, I harvested a couple plants over the past few days. First up was the sativa pheno crash test, done at 56 days, and very dense. Check em..

These are two pollen chucks that I harvested tonight, they were looking great, buds are pretty tight, small but even sized nuggets all over the plant. Super frosted..

Alright now I have a couple shots of the Two indica pheno crash tests that will go at least 63-65 days, they are looking so great.. Cant wait to try em this time around.. Oh and to their right is another PC, that I am going to let go longer to see how I like it..

Here are the Thai Haze x Skunk#1.. They are doing awesome this time around, a ton more resin production and bud growth.. Looking like about a month to a month and a half more..

These are the new seven moving in, they have been in the tent for one week now.. Unfortunately or I guess fortunately I spotted the very first signs of mites on two plants, so I sprayed them all down with safers insecticidal soap two days ago, then today hit them with another 30 day active mite control product. I think that because I found it early I will be able to take care of it. Plants are all looking great, sorry that these pics arnt the best, I will take more when I take pics of veg in a few days..

Core, BR-Thanks for the kind words fellas. The Haze x Skunk is a silly plant. Those cuttings were put directly into flower on the 15th of September, so they have been in flower for just about 3 months. The one on the left seems to want a little more fert so I will hit her up a little bit more the next time I feed. I really just had to keep a super close eye on the ph for these ladies THE ENTIRE TIME. But since I have done that they are looking better and much frostier than last time. I think they have about 45 days left to go, and I am very excited to see what they will have to offer come harvest time and beyond, especially since I dont think I will run another long flowering haze like this till next winter, so I hope this turns out nice and electrically Sativa buzz..

Ace growing as usual NK - those Thai Haze x Skunk#1 look as good as any I've seen on IC I've got some beans but I'm apprehensive of the giants they can become so they'll remain in the cupboard til I grow some balls. Brill photos

Sammet-I dont blame you for saving those ones for last, they just take a really long time and take a a lot of room. When you do attempt it I would recommend that you put your seedlings under 12/12 right away. I did that with my seed mother and she was almost 6' tall by the time I ended up chopping her. I think this strain has a lot of potential, It can yield tons of great sativa bud if you can keep her healthy the whole time she is growing...

The biggest factor is of course time.. The longer the plant has to live, the more that can go wrong with it, somthing I def learned the first time through with the Thaze x Skunk #1 where I basically wasted 4.5 months on a plant that I ended up turning into garbage..

This time its going better, maybe I will take some close ups of these two since they seem to be crowd pleasers.. Peace..
