SCROG ??? Need some experts on this subject

So I keep hearing about Scrog, and seeing all these nets or grids that the plant grows thru to get support. and for better budding(Max yield). But I keep seeing different size holes in the screens, and the screens placed at different heights.... Also, is it better to have two screen???Lower and upper, you know more spots for it to grab to ???? There are so many more questions I have on this subject and this is all I can come up with now... So I thank you in advanced, as I have lil to no knowledge on this subject.... I've never had to opportunity to do this so I would like to give it a try...:thanks:

There are tons of threads on this topic. I would start by researching threads that have similar setups to what you want to build and start there. The search bar at the top of the screen really does have all the info you just asked about and I hate to just point you there but it really is the starting point.

Here you go. The first one is free - http://icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=24013&highlight=scrog

the idea of the scrog is to get each bud site on the plant at the same horizontal level. The reason why you see different size nets is because people have different ways of getting those plant limbs to be at the same horizontal level. Personally, i believe that its better to have smaller gaps within the nets because its easier to tuck the plant limbs under them where as if you had large gaps within your nets, you could possibly run into a situation where the plant limb that you want to bend to the same level has no net to support it. ya dig? its a pretty simple concept to understand. Personally, i can scrog plants without a net. its just all about bending and tying the plants down if you dont have a net. check out PICO... he has a simple PVC scrog setup that he talks about in some thread on here...

I was going to ask if your time was worth more than $40 an hour but, then I clicked. Yikes, what a load of trash.

My vert scrog screens

quick and easy to make. cost about 5 bucks each to make. most expensive part is the 2x3 plastic coated wire mesh I used

Thanks guys!! I have tons of experience with LST and tie downs... I seen a modular one(one that can be moved from bucket to bucket after each grow) on here and that's what I gotta go with.. Its either 4x5gal buckets or one big tub for my 2x2x5 grow lab Tent... I'm using a 400wt hps prob with a couple blue cfl's, also got a 500cfm 6" inline, pulling thru my enclosed hood(oh yeah you can run plexy glass and not glass with big lights if you need to..I am)... With some BC God Bud(short stocky pheno) & Some BC PURP's... When I'm done I'll post some pics..... The God took almost a f-ing month to get the cuts to show roots...... I read it will take a while but DAM~~~~~
HAS ANYONE OUT THERE GREW THESE STRAINS BEFORE??

See I know about the light penetration, but I thought this method was just to give the plant something to grab on to to brach-off... I was thinking the bud would continue to grow thru out the screen .... You know act like a bigger stem to grab... But since its all about having a even Canopy... I GOT THIS SHIT ON LOCKDOWN~ THANKS GUYS FOR THE HELP, advice and pics.... oh yeah PDS~ God dam those r some fine plants bud... How long did it take to get umm that big, also what strain, type of growing, and how big of a light???
