Looks like about 8 fat ass colas. Post up your dry weight when your all done. I'm growing out a pretty big WW right now but it has a lot of small buds. No really large colas.

The first pic in your second post is great. Is that just an effect from the flash? Is it snowy white pistils? Or are they really that covered with resin?

Yeah cashmunny, it probably has a bit to do with the flash, but the pistils were alot whiter then other plants ive grown. It wasnt too covered in resin at day 33, but now im at 54 days and the tables have turned. I wish my camera were a bit better, b/c there just looking fantastic right now, and would love to share with everyone, but i find the pictures never do it justice unless you have an SLR. Ill try a few more before harvest to see if they'll turn out any better.

2 or 3 more days in the light, then 2 days of darkness, then trim time.
Thanks for all the possitive feedback everyone

Wow, you're on the same schedule I am. I started flowering a WW October 1. Mine's probably going to go longer cuz of some nute problems.

Are you going for the milky trichomes, the half and half, or the full on amber sleepy time medicine?

I started flowering mine on Oct 2. I generally go for mostly milky trichs, with the odd amber starting. Right now i'm seeing lots of milky, but still no amber. And especially milky on the lower half of the plant. So i'll make a better judge in 2-3 days , I may let her go a bit longer. I kinda want it done b/c I have a few waiting to get into the tent. I had one hermaph and one male, so WW stood all alone for the last 50 days.
I have a Power plant clone, a Pineapple Kush from seed, and a Fucking Incredible from seed ready to go in. Still experimenting with strains to find the best scenario for my tent.....WW has my vote so far.

ok...WW got chopped last night at 56 days. Really sticky and crystally buds, with a great smell. Got alot of bud off just one plant, and should be happy with the final product.
Weight and smoke report still to come.

Going back to your leaf issues. It looked to me like you may have mites, so check some of the leaves that looked bad if you still have any, but at the very least, clean your tent before using again. You will know for sure if you start to see the same thing on some of the other plants. Those little heathens are a pain to get rid of if they get set in. Check your vegging plants with a jeweler's loop or good magnifying glass. Better safe than sorry.

Your plants are beautiful. Keep up the good work.

Oh, btw. If your camera has a flash.....take a picture when it is dark, the flash will bring out the colors and the crystals.

yeah i had a real good look through my macroscope too, and I'm pretty sure theres no mites. I think its some sort of nutrient thing.

Would you see the mites under 100x zoom macroscope?? Would they be moving??

I'm not too familiar with mites, but im not seeing any movement or weird objects in the scope, and its a pretty clear picture. I really hope thats not the case because I transplanted today and put them in the tent.

I gave it a good wipe, but no disinfectant or anything. That would really suck.

the leaf issue might be mite eggs..... look toward the bottom of the leaves and check the under side. If you see any brown or black specs (may or may not be moving)... more than likely mites.

You may be lucky. I certainly hope there's no mites. They are a pain.

You should definately see them if they are there. Could be an early infestation. Make sure to look for that funky pattern on any of the leaves and then check. They would be on nice green leaves too as that is where they start before the leaves look weird.

If you double checked and are sure, you may be fine....just what it looked like to me.

That should be fine as long as you wiped everything...althogh a really good rinsing would be better.

mmm mmmm mmm, that girl is frosty! nice trim job btw. have you got the dried weight yet? looks like a great yeild from 1 plant. let us know how is smokes also.
How long did you veg for? I have 3 ww seedlings going right now. 5days old. thinking probably 5-6 weeks veg.

I vegged mine for awhile. I took my clone off the WW on July 12, and it took a little longer then normal to show roots. I transplanted into a 4 inch pot on Aug 2, 11 L pot on Sept 13, then HPS started oct 2, so i guess i vegged for 2 months. I was waiting for my FI seedlings to catch up, but one was male, and one hermaphed, so thats why i left her veg a bit longer, and it was under CFL's for most of the veg b/c I had 6 Blue cheese in the tent.......I need more space, i thought i could keep it small, but its driving me nuts.

I tried some of my friends WW last night, and it was fantastic. It was cloned off the same plant, but he clipped it 10 days before mine, so like 46 days. Its dry but not cured, but it messed me up good.

Yours will be way better.

I was stumped by a similar leaf issue turns out it was a carb deficiency. They're using the sugars stored in the lower leaves to fuel budding. Try using some blackstrap molasses next time around, it works miracles.

Thanks Dislexus, I will try that.
Well its been about a week since i chopped her, and is good to go. It was a real quick dryer. Im keeping some aside in a jar to cure for a month or more if i can, to see if it makes alot of difference.
The buds were a little fluffier then I would have liked, and not quite as caked with crystal as expected, but otherwise are awesome. I got a dry weight of 5.25 oz off one plant, which is twice what I normally get, so I was pretty happy about that. The hairs got really browny red as it dried.
It smells and tastes amazing, specially through the volcano. I dont know how to describe it, but it does smell like what i remember of widow.
Oh yeah....and it gets me nicely baked, so i give her 2 thumbs up.
I have a few other things to try out first, but would definetely grow white widow again, maybe try one from a different company.
Heres a few dry pics....no curing yet.

Shes been curing about a week now, and I'm getting more and more impressed with the quality. The buds are feeling alot denser, and smell terrific. The smoke is real smooth and goes right to the back of my head. Its very strong. I'm definetely keeping a jar to cure for awhile. I like to have a half dozen different kinds in jars, so im not always smoking the same thing.
There is one more of the feminized seeds left, so i will probably try it one more time in the future, especially since it produced more then 5 oz.
