Tent users, are you stink free? If so, how?

So have the GrowLab GL80, with a 400 HPS and filter inside. Temps are great, plants are great, but it stinks right when you walk in the house! I have a DIY can style filter, that was working...until I got the tent. So, I bought a brand new Phresh filter. Guess what, my homemade one worked just as good. I have my fan on a speed controller, and have checked for leaks in the duct work. Constant negative pressure in the tent.

So, any suggestions? Anyone have a stinkfree setup? Fan/filter combo that works very well? Of course the smell will get out when you open the tent, but it needs to be as stank free as possible. Thanks!!

I've got a DR80 tent myself. I pull from the reflector and push all the air through a filter on top of the tent. I usually run ducting from the fan to the filter to help control noise. It works very well and keeps things tidy in the tent.

I have a 4*4*7 hydrohut. Can 33 Carbon Filter hooked up to a 265cfm fan. I'm pulling through the filter by the way.

No smell not even in the room the tent is in.

The room the tent is in does not smell at all, the air is exhausted out of the room and into the basment. Humidity 40 percent. I have a speed controller and have tried it on various speeds. My fan is a dayton 265 and it is outside the tent. The tent is brand new, the filter is brand new. The fan sucks the sides of the tent in, so I know there is constant negative pressure.

Maybe a can 33? Only problem is the dayton is a 4 inch. Was thinking about the Mountain Air. That Phresh filter I bought is too small. I have one more DIY scrubber, that is huge. I will try that first, but I really need a solution...not a band-aid.

I tried using a can 33 in a 4x8 with 1600 watts and it was not putting a dent in the smell. I'm downsizing to a 4x4 like yours for a round, and I'll probably be getting a can 100 with an 8 or 10 inch. You always have to go way over-kill with odor control. At least if you want to be safe.
