I speak from personal experiences of what works and doesn't work for me. When I'm not speaking from experience I say so. I agree it looks like it could be a PH lockout. Without looking at the trichomes through a scope it would be hard to gauge whether or not the trichomes are ripe or not. I've seen autos go for 80 days before so depending on this specific plants progress It's also hard to determine if it really is too late to try to fix and sweeten her up. I wouldn't be hitting her with anything hard, that's for sure, because like Scrog said, taste is now a factor to consider. My current opinion is that you have a salt buildup from the epsom salts, resulting in too low of a PH. What kind of doses were you giving her?

extending the bloom cycle may lead to the plant becoming hermaphradite i suggest all you do now is give her good room temp 6.5 phed water until she is ready to come down bro. you do not want to put anymore nutes into that there plant as like scrogger explained you will suffer for it in the way your green tastes...
just look at it as a learning curve bro... we all fuck up every now and then.. the main thing is your trying and thats great... trial and error is a must brother i wish you all the best bro i hope your smokes nice for xmas

Yeah back to the issue in Q,
I agree Gene-w like ive been trying to convey in the last couple of posts. All you can do is correct PH now. Maybe give a little Mollasses too but you would need to stop that pretty soon(use once maybe).(Mollasses contains a nice Macro & micro element profile)
The Spotting & light green leaves like this is a classic PH issue imo. All you can do is try to correct the PH so at least the plant is going to finish off using up what stored sugers she has, which at least will give you a decent tasting product. If you want more bulk, next time bang in a HPS(aircooled) and you'll get just that - FAT JUICY BUDS!

thanks for the advice people. Ive been told that the local water is ph 7.8. i went out shopping but couldnt find a kit to test myself and if i order one online now i doubt it will come in time. Is there a way i can adjust the water ph levels with anything I might be able to get hold of easily? Ill give her a good flush.
she seems to be a bit behind the others who are nearly ready. will examine the trichs later...

hmmmm..... the only thing i would suggest is ph-down purchased from the grow shops bro i mean thats what i use personally i havnt heard of anything else that can be used but that ph is high, mines ph 7 in my area which is a little over what i want but it is neutral! now you have told me that i can see where your problems have started.. maybe boiling the water and letting it cool may help other than that.. dont hold me to it but i have noticed ph decreases when you boil the water but im not 100% there as i use chems to bring mine down.. all i would do is try drop the ph of your tap water and flush bro, on the next crop make sure you got a tester and a ph up and ph down at hand

Dude,
Soil growers use lemon juice or vinegar to lower PH. For a quick fix test kit, get to a pet shop a find a full spectrum liquid test kit - try to find a full spectrum one as you'll get a much closer reading. Correct your water with filtered(use a coffie filter)lemon juice, i believe this will fix your problem pretty quick!!Citric acid would be the one, lemon is a quick fix.

Mix very well indeed Repeat your test after letting the solution stand for 10 mins to make sure, To raise ph just use straight water. Try using half mils of lemon juice at a time in say 5 or 10 litres of water. Remember to let tap water stand for 24 hours before use to rid it of chlorine!

I'd say you have about 7 or so days to go, so it would be worth doing. Let them pistils recead a bit and watch the calix swell. you aint got long at all left now! I can see a lot of milky trichs-Can you see any amber yet?? I wreckon 80-90% brown pistils and you'll be somewhere near, i can see quiet a few still white there in the background!!

I haven't had troubles or had to mess with PH since I stopped growing hydro. I've been growing in Canna soil mostly, but I'm going to be experimenting with coco and other mediums soon. I haven't had problems lately with my feedings, they are usually right in a good range just by adding more or less water. I think I remember starting with 50 gms of pure citric acid per gallon of water? Again, that was a long time ago and PH was the reason I stopped hydro. I'm eager to try coco and these other hybrid methods soon though. Lemon/Lime/Vinegar would probably be cheaper and a more readily available source. Try googling ways to use citrus fruit and or vinegar to lower ph in soil and I'm sure you'll find a detailed guide. Good luck and I hope you share anything you find with us!
