Nirvana Seeds AK-48 6 weeks old

5 out of 6 seeds put in peat pellets spouted on or around 11/01/09. Once they were well rooted they were poted in my soil mix of peat, worm castings, pearlite, blood meal, bone meal, jamaican bat guano, poultry manure, potash, dolomitic lime, kelp meal, and green sand. Ran on a 18/6 light cycle.

Took clones on 12/01/09.

12/12/09 first night of flowering.

Only when I start digging around in them. The 2 taller ones smell some what citrusy. 2 have a musk/skunky swell and the last 1 is straight sewage.

Thanks guys/ladys for stoping by. I've never grown any of the AK's befor. The last 2 to sprout (plant #4) are more leggy. I think this is due to the mostly sativa phono. The other 3 (plants #1, #2, & #3) are nice short little bushes, mostly indica phono.

Here's some more pics of the indica phono from last night just befor the first night of 12/12.

Looking good Buick455gs,
You have a nice strain in the ak48, I had a sativish pheno out of a grow I did a couple of years ago. It was some damn fine smoke. Good luck to you bro the rest of the way through.

Great soil dude, it really shows. I hate peat myself but it sure as shit beats that shredded bark in some products...most peat actually has some humus to it, a good bit of it too...but I prefer mostly humus myself....and all those organics, well it adds a lot of humus quickly as organics leave a lot of cellular matter...that isn't nutrients but a great loom.

Great organics dude, it really shows!

I threw out about 600 dollars worth of genetics two months ago, because I was so disappointed in the soil. I had to store bought 'organics' that miracle grow wood shavings was a joke, not even close to composted....not even forest products, and sure as shit not even composted...it couldn't have been more of a fresh attempt to be a compost.

I'd rather find some humus from select outdoor locations, that are a good ten years into the composting...very mature compost, then mix in nice meals and some other nutrients but gotta be careful if it's a very water soluble source...like the guano's, that stuff really spikes the PPM.

Do I feel bad about ditching genetics, yes about some of those...some of the canacopia that price went up, some of the original blueberry that price went up, the agent orange was smelling nice in veg, the cherry bomb sucked,...the bubba kush x DC was a slow veg but probably going to be good, but man that Govt Mule was the stinkiest plant and very bubble gum, which is odd but I think that pacific G13 is just bubble gum and not really the east cost G13 where the cut came from! Heck, Bubba actually has bubble gum and didn't have that smell or any in veg.

Took a loss in genetics, but it's better to wait and build good soil indoors and outdoors. Good genetics mean little in bad soil, your an example in why to invest in good soil...I'd stay away from the peat myself, it seems to destroy bogs and it isn't broken down like humus.

They've been topped and super cropped. All the clones (4 per plant) were taken from the bottom branches. I'll try to get some pics up tonight.

Update...

Update...

Well I've got 1 male so far and the other 4 are not showing yet. I had my light alittle to close to #4 and started to get some bleaching on the top fan leaves. I'm also having to water every 2-3 days now. I think on my next run I'm going to add some of those expanding water crystals to my soil mix.

Fullbite-green,
I took clones about 2 weeks befor I started 12/12.
